But we can still say who we voted for (and maybe why), can't we? Or give our opinion on the poll?
    In that vein, I got:

    West
    The Rolling Stones over MotleyCrue
    Queen over The Police
    AC/DC over Green Day
    Nirvana over Lynyrd Skynyrd

    Midwest
Led Zeppelin over The Allman Brothers
    Metallica over Rush
    The Doors over Bob Marley
    The Ramones over The Eagles

    East
    The Clash over U2
    Aerosmith over Bon Jovi
    The Who over Sublime
Pink Floyd over The Grateful Dead

Far East <- and I still don't get why PJ is in that category...
    The Beatles over Def Leppard
    Pearl Jam over Jimi Hendrix
Red Hot Chili Peppers over Guns n' Roses
    Van Halen over Kiss

i didn't vote in the aerosmith bon jovi match up because thats the only one where the two bands suck ass,

while i see that Jimi is a groundbreaking musician and one of the best guitarists ever, he doesn't speak to me like pearl jam do, but each to there own i think the band would vote for jimi anyway, especially mike haha

That'll never happen. You can only vote once. But, I dont see the hype for the Beatles. Not even rock if you ask me. Their shit is dated... "I wanna Hold Your Hand".... Thats POP......... IMO Zeppelin is the only better band than PJ.

I understand that. And credit is WELL deserved for that however, that doesnt mean they're the greatest... They started a revolution for sure. But since them, there have been plenty of better bands. Music has evolved a TON since the Beatles. Thats why I said earlier their music is dated. Just because Ford made the first production car doesnt make them the best brand of car. Put it this way, if the Beatles just came out lets say in 2005, they wouldnt put out a single successful album. Now, if Zeppelin came out in 2005, they would be the shit (Best band ever hands down)! Their music WAS good 50+ years ago. Not soo anymore.... FACT.

The Beatles music never ages. Their music isn't dated. Bands and artists today are influenced by The Beatles.

I love Zep but the thing is, a lot of their stuff sounds the same (except Kashmir, Battle of Evermore, and I call Physical Graffiti their White Album) and In Through the Out Door is the only different sounding album and that's because Page was busy shooting himself up with heroin.

Pearl Jam got a brutal draw...

Anyway, Jimi should be voted for ahead of PJ probably but I voted for my band anyway. Voting for Pearl Jam over the Beatles is inexcusable.

But here's the thing: this isn't being published in Rolling Stone magazine or something. Coherd is a jerk and so annoying. I'd love to see his brackets busted so if we can get PJ past the beatles, I'm all for it in this case!

That poll really means nothing, we should have voted Nickleback and Creed all the way to final 2.
