Unabated tolerance did not kill 14 at Ft Hood. One man did. It's people like you who argue in favor of discrimination, and it is unconstitutional and unethical. The rest of your post is irrelevant. I've been in the middle of a firefight and it didn't make me a bigot. Maybe because I can respect people's individualities and I don't place "brown people" in one category if a few of them point a gun at me.

You've obviously never read the Constitution, nor any of it's amendments. If you've been in a firefight, then you've taken the same oath as me: "I do solemly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic"
Apparently, you don't understand that people who point a weapon at you are not "your friends." I don't care what color you are: you've obviously never been responsible to anyone other than yourself. The next time that you knock on a mother's door to tell her that, because of your decisions, her son is dead, will be your first time. This ain't about you, shitbag. This is about the United States. You tell that mother why her boy died. It may seem callous, but would you rather lie to her?

Looks like another arrogant holier-than-thou type just got put in his place.

Well, if you check your facts, it was more than 19 Muslims that planned and carried out 9-11. 19 was just the number that made it on the plane. And your jewelry store robbery thing still doesn't pan out with me. All sorts of people rob jewelry stores: black, white, Asian, men, women, etc. How many groups of people fly airplanes into buildings? Hmmmm let me think. Oh, wait! I can only think of one group that currently engages in that type of murderous behavior. But I dare not speak its name, lest I be labeled a bigot.
Are you actually trying to argue how many it was that planned 9/11? Who the fuck cares? My point is obviously going over your head, that there are 1.6 billion Muslims in the world and the actions of such a small number should never have any impact on their lives. Believing in the same faith should never justify treating them in a similar manner. and that is what people like you are doing. because a woman may be wearing a scarf, someone like Juan Williams can be just as nervous around her as he would around someone who actually is in Al Qaeda, simply because they call themselvs Muslim.

Whatever, I really have no problem with all you say. It is akin to white supremacists, anti-Semites, and every other type of racist that has existed throughout history. we're just in different times

So now I'm up there with white supremacists and anti-Semites (see: radical Muslims)?? Even after acknowledging that there are a great many good Muslims? And I've never advocated "treating" Muslims as a whole in any particular way. Pointing out that radical Islam is the most clear and present danger to the free world is not racist. I'm sorry that the good Muslims get grouped in with the others, but maybe they should be more vocal in condemning terrorist organizations.
This is pointless. Your default debate techniques seem to involve name-calling and belittling, and little else. I've made my point, and I'm done arguing with you. I just have one last question: Is it lonely up there on your pedestal?

Your ramblings sound a bit like Charlie Sheen. I guess you are "winning".

Speaking of telling mothers why their boy has died. That is part that sickens me most about illegal wars like the one in Iraq. Lying to mothers. Telling them that their sons or daughters died for a good cause.

If I were you I would watch your language around here. Or you may not be posting much longer.

Well, I do agree that the "shitbag" comment was a little much. I've been called all sorts of lovely names  for doing nothing more than voicing my opinion on this site. That being said, I withdraw my previous applause as it relates to the name-calling.

The s-bag comment was out of line. I apologize. Backsies? I want to talk to others who disagree with me. I'm not afraid of being wrong. If I'm wrong, I'll admit it. Convince me.

You didn't read it properly. I said your way of thinking provokes extremists. But clearly your comprehension skills lack the wherewithal to understand how that could be possible.

MY way of thinking provokes extremists? That's exactly what I suggested, so perhaps your comprehension skills are lacking.

By the way, weren't you the one who suggested dropping bombs on America in a different thread? I can tell you're a true man of peace.

I mean, I knew this thread would get hijacked...but I got to tell you, and maybe I am just a little crazy, but I never saw this direction coming. Truly astounded daily by these boards...I love it!!
