I think the ones we really like made it through. Person of Interest, Chicago Fire,
    Mike and Molly, New Girl.

Idol this year is the worst ever. Predictable, lacks creativity and originality and my God
no men left standing! So we are muddling through but rarely can make it.
The judges though might be great individually not so good together.

I thought maybe this the last year so I'm glad it was picked up
but they got to stop messing with it.
Get some good judges that work well together and let us get to know them.
Also cut down the critique time, good lord... blah blah blah with an occasional cat fight...
    just dumb.

Candice my fave from day one, I close my eyes her voice beautiful. Her face changes
and becomes so lovely in song.

How was the second season of Person of Interest? I watched the entire first season, but missed the first few of the second and decided not to bother.

    I never watched 24...yup, that's right I NEVER SAW 24!

If Kiefer had something to do with cancelling Touch I will hate him forever.

I seriously think that reason is a cop-out. There are really good shows that don't have great ratings, because the network stuck it in a terrible time slot. Touch was stuck on Friday nights...that pretty much guarantees the death of a good show. I think if they put it on a different night, and gave it a chance, more people would have watched it.

Or maybe people just like watching 'dumb' shows...the ones where you don't really have to keep watching or pay attention to know the storyline.

The second week in May is always the best and worst week for television actors/actresses.......many lose their jobs, while others begin their ascent into (hopefully) stardom.

Two of my firm's clients had their shows cancelled, but one client's show got picked-up for the fall schedule.

+1000. I remember the first episode I thought it wasn't that good. But I kept watching and it got better and better. And it doesn't suck watching Elisha Cuthbert

I always thought the idea of friday night being a death slot seems like just making excuses. I mean there have been shows that have been successful in that slot. I mean X-files was in the 90's and after that Law and Order SVU became a huge hit on Friday nights. I would say Friday night is the slot of lowered expectations. I mean there are less overall people watching TV on friday's so if you can't get a decent chunk of those ratings, you are probably not going to get a decent chunk of the ratings on a night when more popular shows are on and the ratings are more competitive.
