god, it's been a long two months. I would love to post 100% completed pics, but they're moving in today :shock: and will be living out of boxes for months....and they'll NEVER get shit completely put away . off the top of my head, what's left is changing out all the switches and plugs, light fixtures (purchased), a few more closet doors, replace every door (purchased and painted), crown in the kitchen, granite, replace all registers, etc. but is DOES look pretty good and you'd never know it was recently a dingy, moldy, asbestos laden mess

and we finally got around to putting down the door thresholds.

more freebie work. the temporary wall by the back door is to hold the roof and ceiling up (hopefully) when we knock down the back wall. the other plywooded wall is just to keep dust out of the rest of the house. the floor was tile over cement board over linoleum over plywood. what a fucking mess :roll:

Sorry, couldn't help it. Just looked at my paystub and saw my union dues for the month. Oh well.

My project is almost finished. My partner really didn't want to live by my deadline... Somewhere around Christmas, give or take a few months. So I contracted the flooring out to a nice plig guy. Did a pretty good job. I did all the cabinets, bases and walls, and had professionals do the counter top. All I have left is toe kicks, a few skins and some lighting left to do. Now my partner is really happy!
