I get on extremely well with my sister so this won't last long.
To the goose who told me to grow up.... Thank you.... Possibly one of the best pieces of advice I ever heard.
I can't remember who did the Maths, but that sounds very logical to me.
And yes, Hail damages cars... As Fishie said, ice the size of gold balls coming out of the sky fucks cars up. As evidence by the car I used to drive that was parked in the open and the dings in the bonnet.
My parents are walking the peaceful line. They think it will cause a blow up, but what I am saying to them is how is it different from 5 years ago?
Yes houses are very expensive and no I will not call a new area home. All my family is here, work, uni and friends.

Have your parents said anything about this? What is their opinion? I can definitely see how you want to kick your sister's car out since she did the exact same thing. That's the way it would work, right? Yes, I do think she is sorta being a brat about it since she had 5 years of covering her car already. The value of it is much less I'm sure. But personally, I think since you both still live under your parent's roof and have not said anything about paying rent and/or parking, THEY should have the covered spots. Regardless of what their cars look like or are valued at, they pay for the house, and their children do not. I think it's just common courtesy to let your parents have what is rightfully theirs.
agreed
Also agree. I assume the covered spots are closer to the house, and parents should get them...solves sibling fighting.
I refuse to rent (because I don't want to pay off some other pricks mortgage).
I think the same, turning 27 this year, still at home but in that time saved money for a deposit and now bought a townhouse which I will rent out and live at home for a few more years.
You a wog? lol

Well as stated earlier, I will buy a place when I finish my degree. And as stated earlier a below average house here costs $600,000. $16,000 is no where near enough, and I couldn't afford mortgage.
But thanks for your opinion pal.... and I just turned 25, not 45....

Back to your subject, when I bought my new 30k focus 3 years ago I refused to park it on the street, my sis told me to stop being a princess and got angry about me parking it inside and in the garage.
So when she bought her new territory not long ago and she refused to park on the street.
Gee don't we just love hypocrites. :x

Yes, it is!
You are not being unreasonable. I would be the same way if I were in that situation.
I assume that you already tried to reason with her?
Just get home and park in the garage first before she gets home.
