    WMMR is a radio station in Philadelphai PA. The station plays alot of Pearl Jam and follows the bands activity. Matt Cord is close to the band, namely Jeff Ament. Here is a link to the station so you can get more info and "Listen Live" if you wish on the "fancy thinking box."

    Heck ya I am goin! 2/5 of PJ plus Doug P?! I saw Pound Hound in Philly at The Troc (I think it was the Troc) back in like 01. The guy has some awesome talent and I still say to this day, WMA from 4/3/94 is the best version ever, thanks to Doug being on stage with them

    i almost bought neil tix the other day, cuz may 1st is my birthday, and that's one of his philly dates
    the price made me think twice so i was holding out

    NOW i'm so happy i didn't ...phewwww
    i love neil .. been with him since the very beginning (that's right :roll: )
    but my pj fund won't stand for all this superfluous entertainment!
    got to focus on the big prize here
    and
    i LOVE LOVE LOVE the tower
    saw my first show there back in the 70s
    holds a special place in my heart
    used to (shhhhhhhhhhh :roll: ) hitchhike from new hope to doylestown, hop the train to penn station, and take the el to 69th st.
    then hang out in white tower until the line started to form
    i can't tell you how many nights we got stuck sitting in penn station dropping nickels in those parking meter tvs cuz we missed the last train back out to the boonies! 8-)
    totally missed out on ed's last tower shows
    but i have some great memories there
    hot tuna, jorma, bruce, jerry garcia, hank williams jr., ritchie blackmore, more hot tuna, more hot tuna, more dead, more jerry, more bobby (i think that was tower)
    geez i don't even remember
    but i know its AWESOME
    its gorgeous on the inside (couldn't tell from outside right?)
    the sound is great and there isn't a bad seat in the house
    'course we prefer orchestra, but really, not a bad seat
    and only about 3,500 seats!

    (course we get tres mts at less than 800..standing only at the TLA, and that's gonna be great! so its all good right?)
