I also have Dedicated To The MotherFuckers (2cd), Uncovered (1cd), This Is Not For You (2cd) and one amazing 2 CD set from the man of golden words. Malfunkshun / Temple Of The Dog / Mother Love Bone - Tribute To Andy Wood by Live Storm Records. One of my favorite bootlegs of all time.
Oh yeah those two "In Memory of Andrew Wood" bootlegs are a must. #1 includes 3 Temple Of The Dog outtakes.
It was pretty much my holy grail of bootlegs that time (94) cause of all the demos & rarities from Andy & the guy's. Amazing shit by MLB & Malfunkshun. Angel Of Fire & Bellshit by TOTD was great!
I love this boot D!! If I remember correctly this has a different intro at the start of Corduroy that didn't sound intentional but was really cool!!
Like a book among the many on a shelf...
Dublin 02 Arena - 22/6/10. Belfast Odyssey Arena - 23/6/10. London Hyde Park - 25/6/10. Berlin Wuhlheide - 30/6/10.
Manchester MEN - 20/06/12. Manchester MEN - 21/06/12
live on the wireless... its just one of many bootleg versions of the melbourne show from 03/17/95...im actually on my second copy of it...i listened to it that much
it's largely due to eddie that i liked to jump off of things as a child...
Self Pollution Radio- I actually taped the show off the radio myself...I really need to find those tapes..
I had one from 94ish...I think it was called Rarities II...it had Beast of Burden on there which was great because right after Eddie sings "All I want is for you to make love to me", the crowd cheers and Eddie follows up with something like" No, no that's just part of the song...I don't really mean it"
I also remember having a tape that a fellow fan made for me that had "Shower the People" on it...I should really find that tape too...because I think there was a lot of fun stuff on there
I have a box full of these old bootlegs from the 90's!!! I was obsessed with buying them back in the day.
Some of my favorites:
5 Musketeers
In Rock We Trust
Vortical
Steppin' Stones
Chapters
More Nonsense
The Golden Unplugged
Piss Bottle Men
Self Pollution Radio
Seattle Showdown
anybody have the Pearl Jam bootleg 'Worldwide' ? I still got mine. It's got the best the version of Otis Redding's 'Sitting On the Dock of the Bay' ... (on repeat right now...)
i still have all of my old boots..100s of them..my god how i used to spend tons of $$$ on these things...$25 for a single disc set...$50 for a double (one yr my car got broken into...person stole 14 pearl jam cd from me... i was devastated at the time because it was about $450 worth of cds)...yeup this was before the interweb days....before it was all avail for free on various wbesites...but it was so exciting finding all this new pj stuff as a kid at record stores...thank god 2000 came around when they started to official boots
it's largely due to eddie that i liked to jump off of things as a child...
I'll always remember the day I walked into a music store and they had a bunch of these boots. The kicker was that the single disc ones were 8.99 and the double discs were 16.99. Needless to say, I stocked up.
My favorites are:
Whipping The Dog (Secret show in SF 1993 before Vs. came out)
Tivoli (Excellent quality show from 92)
Five Alive (Another excellent quality show from 92)
Rough Mixes (Ten Rough Mixes)
Two Track Demos (Demos From the Vs. Sessions)
No Fucking Messiah was my favorite. Awe,The kids now-a-days have no idea how it was. I actually liked going to the mom and pop music stores and looking for these CD's.
Here is a quick article from Paste Mag. in 2009 on bootlegs
So need to find an original Silver CD copy of No Fucking Messiah & No Fucking Messiah 2. Never seen them available @ my local record stores or in the Hit Paradar magazine ad's those day's.
I am about 90% sure I have both of those. Just have not gonethroughmy old stuff in years. Let me know I you want a dub of them, or ifyouhave some cool stuff you want to dub and send my way.
Self Pollution Radio- I actually taped the show off the radio myself...I really need to find those tapes..

A great one. Had to pick it up cause it included the great Dock Of The Bay cover.
Love the avatar!
How is the Dock of the Bay Cover? Many times back in the day they did not do covers like they do now. Some are short and they changed the words. Which IMO are cool for a listen, but to not put on a playlist and into a listening rotation.

Cool...Yes..I have to dig through some stuff too..I know I have this stuff SOMEWHERE...just have to figure out where that SOMEWHERE is
Let me know what you find when you get around to digging through your stuff
I had only one :(
So it's got to be my favorite
Surfer Eddie's sunshine state. You can definitely hear some people talking in the audience, I guess, and the sound's not so good, but that's when I got to hear for the first time what have been my two favorite songs ever since. I reckon the fact that I got it totally randomly only a couple of days after I got into PJ makes it special for me too.
The generosity of bootleg cassette b&p networks via snail mail made me what I am today..
I'm glad others remember the good old cassette bootleg days too
Trading @ school with friends who had bought the Silver CD bootlegs you never had (couldn't buy all of them) to only record/trade with them on cassette tapes. The day's when there weren't any CDR recorders. :(
I had many of them but later upgraded them to CD so I just gave away those cassette tapes. But still have a few memorial goodies lying around. The Live In Berlin '96 that was on The Edge Radio & the Yield debut on Live On The Rock Report was amazing.
Just found another cassette this morning. Another radio special aired July 25th 2004 on Q104 Halifax. Mike McCready hosts radio special 1 hour of 10/22/03 Benaroya Hall. Might already be available via flac format. But will transfer my copy next week.

The Aussie Dynamos also has that sweet 3/17/95 show. Packaging is pretty cool too.

The first ever PJ bootleg that included a cardboard casing over top of the jewel case. Included the MTV Unplugged & Zurich '92 tracks.
Turned me on to collecting bootlegs...don't even want to think what I have spent over the years
