I've been thinking the same exact thing. They are scheduling all these other shows but what happened to those cancelled dates in Australia?

Only problem....being a dedicated Kitchener Rangers fan I have to go to the home of the Dirty Knights to see the show. GO RANGERS GO!!!
Interesting to see that they are cutting the JLC in half, the venue is only 12,000 (max) capacity to begin with so by cutting it in half.....I am excited for this show, my wife doesn't know either band very well and I haven't seen either one yet but I know that this is going to be a killer show and a great way to get the summer going.
Fuck Yeah!

An hour and 10 mins? Thats all we got... But we got an hour and 45 mins of Booker T and some other band.
They sound fine, but every song sounds the same.
How exactly is it ok for a band to do something like that?? I'm not going to lie, that is the exact opposite of PJ, Phish, DMB, any band thats been around for long enough to know the fans are the reason they are there. To headline a show and play less music than the fucking openers is a joke. I was pretty excited to see them live but what a fucking waste of time and money. Hopefully whoever else was there had a good time...

Yeah I'm not a fan anymore, I'll listen to their albums but never again will I pay to go see a half assed live show where they are basically robbing people of their money.
Whats even more amazing, a lot of people seemed to think it was the best show they had ever seen.
They always play short shows... I'm pretty sure they only played 1hour 20 minutes when I saw them headline in Toronto last year. But still a great hour and 20 minutes from my experience!
So much music, so little time....
Yeah i guess its just personal preferance. I mean I'm a Phish, Pearl Jam, jamband type of show person. I'm sure if i saw them at a festival where they had a 45 min to an hour set it would be great. I was just expecting a normal 2 hour+ show. Oh well, won't make that mistake again. I guess its the whole "the more you know" concept

Plus, Dan doesn't do too much talking like Ed does, so that factors in.
I saw then last June in Detroit and thought they were great.

Yeah same man, I saw them at Coachella a few years ago in one of the tents and it was pretty epic.

Here's the kicker - the wife and kid are the REAL Black Keys fans of the family. They basically wore out the Brothers CD, and last year at Lollapalooza my daughter was picking grass and looking around and my wife wanted to go use the restroom. I'm like... "Uh, the band is playing, see?"
I very much like their last couple CDs, but they have yet to be a truly "can't miss" live experience for me.
“If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world.
i really wish i didn't open this thread. i was really looking forward to see them...
