Maybe a 20 ANN. Mini tour would be a much better idea!!

At this point no matter what they choose to do for this ANNY yr there is bound to be a bunch of fans that will feel left out , They have put themselves in a No win situation ..
Would i like a Mini Tour yeah ...jesus greets me looks just like me ....0 -
tour would be amazing IMO
but i'm just saying that because i can't make the festival
as long as there's a london date in this tour
good idea0 -
20 anni mini tour would be great and it sounds like we may just get one with the emphasis being on mini. That said a 20th anni only happens once. While any kind of PJ tour floats my boat the thought of a focused 20 year celebration is a can't miss OTOTO opportunity.0

Memphis is long overdue for a stop. I don't want to knock the festival thing b/c a lot of people on here are looking forward to it and I was until the Alpine Valley thing was mention and I crunched the numbers that Alpine would cost me. However, I think spreading our a tour across the US and visiting the places they don't play a whole lot would be awesome. Also, I know Europe and South America would love a few shows.
you had bonnarooRC, SoDak 1998 - KC 2000 - Council Bluffs IA 2003 - Fargo ND 2003 - St. Paul MN 2003 - Alpine Valley 2003 - St Louis MO 2004 - Kissimmee FLA 2004 - Winnipeg 2005 - Thunder Bay 2005 - Chicago 2006 - Grand Rapids MI 2006 - Denver CO 2006 - Lollapalooza 2007 - Bonnaroo 2008 - Austin City Limits 2009 - Los Angeles 2009 - KC 2010 - St Louis MO 2010 - PJ20 Night 1 - PJ20 Night 20 -
I could get behind this idea 100%0

Is now about the right time to say...
PLEASE PLAY PITTSBURGH
or...
STATE COLLEGE0 -
I love this idea..IF they could come to Japan. I live on Okinawa and would make the trip to Mainland to see them but I cannot afford to fly to the states just to see PJ!0

Isn't a mini tour going to happen ?
Oh yeah ! For us ammmmaaaaazing fans north of the border.

That sure would make more sense. I get that Alpine is in the "middle" of the country, but it's really in the middle of fucking nowhere which makes it difficult for a majority of people to travel to.0

you had bonnaroo
Woohoo, TN has got PJ twice in the past 10 years (if I'm thinking right).
Besides Bonnaroo is not the same as an actual PJ concert, IMO, it's a festival. Also, Manchester, TN is not that close to Memphis (Almost five hours out to be exact), it's in east TN, Memphis is on the AR/TN border. Anyway, just saying, the closest thing to a bone the south has been thrown in a while was St. Louis and Manchester is no closer to me than St. Louis. Sadly, for the TX fans, other than the Austin festival, Memphis is probably the closest they come to a lot of them, unless they choose to come back to Little Rock.

Hmmm...I didn't realize that the tour thing was aimed toward Canada. I'm happy for the Canadian fans on here, but in all honesty, it's starting to look like I'm not going to be spending that much money this year after all. I know this all is mostly speculation at this point, but (yes, I know this is whining) I'm disappointed, there I said it. Also to Indifference's post above, I agree! Hopefully a lot of this stuff will turn out to be only rumor, or at least we will all get a little PJ this year.

I would also rather see a tour. Won't be making the trip to WI if that happens but hope they do that too for those that can make it.My blog for your boots:

A mini tour would make a lot more fans happy than just a one off weekend "Fest"
And really, doesn't the band celebrating 20 years together deserve more than just a weekend celebration?!0 -
Mini Tour? Isn't that what they have been doing every year since 2006?
Anyway, I am all for some kind of tour. Ready for a show.DAL-7/5/98,10/17/00,6/9/03,11/15/13

I was shocked they didn't tour more behind Backspacer. For a record that was so good, that got so much positive attention from the press and was even nominated for a Grammy, they really shorted it as far as tour support goes.DAL-7/5/98,10/17/00,6/9/03,11/15/13
