    Oslo 2000. Very nice show I'd forgotten about. Daughter is tagged with Tom Waits, Hold On which Ed turns into a nice call and response then ends it with a "hey hey it's ok" chant. Betterman is really nice too, no crowd singing or tag almost like the first time in Atlanta 94. Immortality as usual on this tour had botched lyrics and an immense solo from Mike. Last Exit and a version of Porch which clocks in at under 4 minutes closes the main set in style. Great Sleight Of Hand, Small Town and Black in the single encore and Fuckin' Up wraps it all up. Not much talking from Ed and just a good, no nonsense show. Ed sounds great and Matt and Jeff are really tight.
    Like a book among the many on a shelf...

    Excellent boot. Great stories and the second encore is second to none and just an overall great show. Love how both Ed and Matt invited their guitar and drum teachers growing up to step in and play Little Wing.

    Athens 06. Go! I love this as an opener. For a first show in a new country this had a bit of everything, not just a safe hits show. I'd have been delighted with this for a first show. Sad, I Am Mine, You Are, Smile! Plus those encores! When did you ever see Black, RVM and Porch back to back and then in the next encore RITFW, Yellow Ledbetter/Little Wing all in one night? There's a pretty annoying screamer somewhere in the audience that needed gagged though, maybe I just have sensitive ears.... ;)

    Toronto 1, 2011. I've ignored this boot in favour of a couple of shows from the tour that I think are slightly better ( Hamilton & Calgary) but this one is still really good. NAIS, Setting Forth into Not For You, Faithful, Off He Goes, Porch. All excellent but the encores make this show another classic.

    I've only ever listened to this show once, back when it got released and I can still hear that girl in the audience now :lol::lol::lol:
