Toronto 2 2016...I'm struck again how night 1 felt like a more laid-back, family affair, while night 2 feels like the band's out to knock our socks off (which isn't to say there aren't some rocking performances on night 1, obviously, lol).
Still feel so privileged to have been at both shows!

I wish I was there...
I mp3'ed it as my last years free bootleg...I like it. Ed's voice is rested and pretty close to perfect and the guitar sound is "dialed in" to my ears.
I'm renewing a week and a half and am thinking about the Vic as my download.
Personally, I prefer vinyl for studio and digi for live, but that's just my opinion. Unless there's some awesome sonic reason that only happens in a particular venue, like Benaroya Hall, and even that gets to be too much after a while, the hooting and hollering. I like the boot a lot better at $9.99 (or "free" in my case as I used my 10 club code) than whatever someone decides is the right price, be it 50 or 75 or 200 dollars.

You can't go wrong with the Vic Theatre show. It's one of my favorites.

Quebec 16. Good lord! Only a few songs in. Amazing version "Of the Girl" with what felt like some edgier guitar than usual. Love it. Cready just lost his mind on the Evenflow solo.
While typing, I think I just heard some fans singing at the end of Evenflow. Sorry whoever you are, but I don't need to hear any of you sing, like ever.
