The Vault that was given at Alpine.......do you think that show opening with Release was a pre-cursor by the band opening with Release Night 1?

Listened to both Sao Paolo shows over the weekend, gotta say I was disappointed with them. The encores probably saved night 1. Seemed to be many mistakes on the 2nd night - Ole and Why Go getting mixed up, guitar parts in Last Kiss and Alive forgotten. Inside Job was incredible though.

On the mp3 player now is Rio. So far upto Jeremy.

Must say the 'ole ole ole' chants I find abit annoying times and some of the crowd singing - for instance, the Daughter tag is ruined at both Sao Paulo and Rio shows and ends up ending hastily.

Standouts so far for me at Rio is Blood and Immortality.

Rio '11. Nice run in the 2nd encore from Black to Yellow Ledbetter, just a shame Ed screwed up Indifference (again!)

Started listening to Curitiba this morning. Heard 12 songs on my way to work, must say I'm very impressed with what I've heard so far. :)

Now listened to the main set and 1st encore, definitely my favourite SA so far. Pity about the problems at start of Porch and Supersonic was out of place in the 1st encore. But the rest of the show has been great.

Well, this is certainly a never-ending thread, isn't it?

Just had to check in after today, because I just listened to Halifax 2005 and, man, I thoroughly enjoyed that one!
If you've never heard it before, I highly recommend trying to get it. Great sound, the band sounds great with some of the best versions of songs I've ever heard, Ed's in rare form, and the crowd's really great too.

Just like to say hi to my buddies in Seattle while I'm at it. You know, yeah that's who I mean. Thanks for all of it!

I'm with you on that one..it's one of those songs that gets me every time. If I remember correctly I do believe that show is a 3-disc-er..so it feels like you're getting a little extra :D Enjoy!

One of my fav PJ songs for sure....it should've been on Vs. IMHO. You're lucky to have heard it live and as the opener.....would be my second choice as a PJ opener. BTW, I noticed your signature with Ed's quote at Bristow right before Given To Fly......I was at that show and remember when he said all of that, very underrated show....that's when he first started talking to the crowd, it was awesome.
