goldberg is a terrible wrestler. calling him the greatest WCW champ in history is a joke. there are about 100 guys ahead of him. the streak was cool. it was super-hype. when he beat hogan, I went wild. you almost never saw someone beat hogan clean like that. but he's an absolute joke of a pro-wrestler.

sting is also terrible. all hype. 3 moves and a scream.

flair is by far the best. randy savage, bret hart, etc etc.

The greatest WCW champ ever is the same as the greatest WWF champ ever: Hogan. People tend to say it's Flair but Flair's heyday as champion was in the 80's as NWA champ, before WCW was created. Upon the debut of WCW in 1988, it lost tons of money every year until Hogan came in 1994. He helped stop the bleeding, and then was the focal point of the WCW boom when he turned heel in 1996. He's also the longest reigning WCW champion, holding the belt for more than twice as many days as Flair.

End of the line was pretty bad except the opening match

i'm probably in the minority but i thought the ppv was pretty good. tag team match and ironwoman match were the best matches of the night. cruiserweight match was pretty good. ok the zayn/strowman match was kinda bad and stupid as was the rusev/cass match. Owens and reigns match was ok until the ending.
My problem with the women's match is you have Sasha tap twice and never be able to defend her belt. She had 3 runs with the belt that were all quick and forgettable. I agree charlotte should have won the dues but not win every ppv match.

They need to not go back and forth with the Women's title. What is this the UFC?

what would all you wrestling fans think of Conor McGregor showing up in WWE?

I think it makes perfect sense for the WWE and mcgregor. Losing in the UFC will lessen his appeal but fighting in the WWE will keep his brand protected. His gimmick could be that he uses MMA moves in the ring, like winning with guillotine chokes, rear naked chokes, armbars, always switching it up and catching his opponent off guard.

I think the only problem is that McGregor is so damn small...he's only like 5'9 and 155 lbs. Shamrock was a pretty big dude from what I remember and he looked kinda small compared to most wrestlers back then. McGregor will look like a midget compared to most guys if he ever comes to WWE....I'm guessing if he did it would only be a one time thing for a Wrestlemania.

    very true. good point.

maybe he could be the cruiserweight and intercontinental "double champ" in WWE. or whatever those titles are called now.

I watched it too. Some crazy spots. My one complaint about NJPW is that the ending sequence of big fights feels repetitive.
