    Me too. Its a good idea to reflect on the good things that happen everyday. It is far to easy to dwell on the things that suck! ;)

    1. Date night with Mr. Guitar59, dinner and a hockey game, more beers after game
    2. Got to see the Flames win on home ice (they didn't kick Blues butt...but managed a win)
    3. Heard Pearl Jam and Black Keys at the hockey game.

    I'll do Saturday.... this day is just beginning :D

    1. JB brought me flowers! and we did some spring cleaning

    2. lovely no cloud bright blue sky

    3.extra special evening in the hot tub with a mixed cd JB made of old time favorites
    and some new ones from the rate thread...most brilliant starry sky to go with it.

    This is such a happy thread, I really like it...always a good reminder to look on the bright side of life!

    I'll do Saturday too since nothing remarkable has happened today yet lol

    1. Got a haircut with a new stylist, love how it turned out!
    2. Kind words from a friend
    3. Fun party that evening at a gorgeous apartment in downtown SF (very cool views!), met some great folks and was nice to just relax and hang out

    *edit* EEEE how could I forget a huge one....got tickets to see Neil Finn play solo at a club in LA in April!! YES!

    3. My kids listened to me and cleaned the kitchen when they got home
    with no prompting from their mother.

    1) I decided to stay home from work today because I was feeling ill (and I enjoyed being able to sleep all day!)
    2) I saw the nice birthday thread here
    3) My husband made dinner and a cake for me for my birthday :)

    1. Quiet day at work, got a lot done
    2. Meeting to review some design work I'm doing for a local nonprofit went fantastic!
    3. Being home cozy warm, watching some TV and knowing I have tomorrow off :)

    * I sold a bunch of books to Half Price Books-(cleaning out storage)
    * Found a book called 'Rock Tease-The Golden Years of Rock T-Shirts'...found pics of rare Green River, PJ, and Mudhoney shirts....cool little article about Mark Arm in there too!
    * Also picked up a Zep biography...has stickers, press kit, mini poster, interview CD in it...it's like a scrapbook...REALLY cool...hope the PJ book is like this.

    today has a long way to go and it's Saturday!
    So....Friday

    1. I cleaned the pantry...its lovely...tried a new design

    2. my son shared a secret.... it was uplifting

    3. There's a beaver living in the stream behind work...JB told me an adorable recollection of him,
    last evening while we were hanging in the shanty ;) it was very descriptive.. :lol:
    They are amazing and cute animals...one of my favorites, that crazy ass tail....
    he is a city beaver ...way to go Beav :D

    Let's cover a 24 hour time span...some happened and goodness to come!
    1. Enjoyed a dinner out with hubby and another couple...it been too long since I went on a double date!
    2. Oldest kid handled the babysitting tasks! House was in fine order and little ones were all snoring when we returned home!
    3. Looking forward to a visit with a great friend and some baby snuggles this evening.
