Me too! And proud...every time I see them I am proud that PJ is my favorite band. Twice I've taken some casual fans to shows...and afterwards they were so blown away they became believers too. I LOVE that!

So true. I remember when we took friends(a couple) to see PJ in '05 and after we met up with them and he looked at us with a huge smile and said "well that sucked" they loved it. I am not sure they were converted like myself but probably because they have a family now!

I would love to meet up with you at a show sometime. :)

Both times the people I took admitted they had never seen another band perform better.

I would love that! Eventually we'll find ourselves at the same show :)

the age factor (and the fact that Moonie and John aren't with us anymore) made it seem this way

put the two bands side by side in their prime and it's all even flow.
Down the street you can hear her scream youre a disgrace
As she slams the door in his drunken face
    And now he stands outside
And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
And his tears fall and burn the garden green

  • Imagine if they had done LROM and Baba. The Who wouldn't have had a chance. Although, I must add, they should have had the Blue Man Group do Baba.

entirely agree with the previous post.

i was at the show, but seeing it again tonight i was literally tearing up during LROM. seriously. eddie just nailed it like only he could do. the emotion there that night was unbearable. you could just hear it in his voice and see it in his eyes before the first scream that he was nervous and yet so excited and anxious to pour it all out there.

no, he doesn't. He just does it Ed style and you enjoy that more.
Which is fine but it's not better than Roger doing it in '73.

The Who is old! Roger Daltrey looks great for 64! (Guess he didn't get his wish - dying before he gets old) But of course Pearl Jam will rock better than them! Mike was awesome!
I really screwed that up. I really Schruted it.
