When is Newman first heard, and when does Newman first appear?
he's first heard when he threatens to jump off the roof of the apartment block. I think I read somewhere they had to overdub his lines for syndication when he was later cast in the role (it was first read by Larry David if I recall correctly).
I think his first appearance was when he got caught speeding with Kramer's faulty radar detector?

You're right on the first one. And yes, Larry David originally did the voice but Wayne Knight later re-recorded it for syndication.
He appears in like two or three episodes before the radar detector though.

can't recall the name of the episode...maybe when george asks him why postal workers shoot everybody, and he said "cause the mail never stops"?

You're getting closer...but still not his first appearance.

Wow never knew that about Larry David originally doing the voice. That’s pretty, pretty cool. And great question, I can’t recall Newman’s first appearance.
His first appearance is in season 3. Newman (leaving Kramer's apartment) sees Jerry coming out of his apartment with the girlfriend of Martin (the guy in the coma) and Newman threatens to tell Martin. Jerry almost buys Newman off with a drake's coffee cake. "That's your big boy."
They actually do the Hello Jerry/Hello Newman bit during that very first interaction, but without it coming off like a "catchphrase" yet.

This is admittedly a tough question: there's a poster in Jerry's apartment (outside of the bathroom) of a baseball field. The artist's name is prominently displayed at the bottom. Who is the artist?
Virginia Beach 2000; Pittsburgh 2000; Columbus 2003; D.C. 2003; Pittsburgh 2006; Virginia Beach 2008; Cleveland 2010; PJ20 2011; Pittsburgh 2013; Baltimore 2013; Charlottesville 2013; Charlotte 2013; Lincoln 2014; Moline 2014; St. Paul 2014; Greenville 2016; Hampton 2016; Lexington 2016; Wrigley 2016; Prague 2018; Krakow 2018; Berlin 2018; Fenway 2018; Camden 2022; St. Paul 2023; MSG 1 2024; Baltimore 2024
So I will ask one of my own.....who did George consider trading for Barry Bonds when he thought he was on the cusp of being a heartbeat away from General Manager?

I remember him saying that when he was in a ditch surviving on grubs and puddle water, he came up with a way to get Bonds and Griffey without having to give up too much. But I don't recall him ever naming someone to trade for Bonds.

It was when he and Susan took a mid week vacation while leaving his car in the Yankee Stadium parking lot to make it appear as if he was burning the midnight oil.

Multiple player deal...
We're in the same episode and I remember now that he mentioned this to Susan while they were at a cabin, but I don't remember the players in the trade.
My wife noticed today that there was only one chocolate babka left at the bakery!
😂 just make sure there wasn’t a hair in it.
always found that to be one of the oddest single word dialogues in any show. the way he says the word. it's so strange. I don't know if the guy was overacting, or if he was directed to say it like that. any time my wife and I have to sarcastically apologize, we always do it in that voice.
