on the youtube clip it goes for at least a few seconds longer than it does in syndication. zubin follows elaine out the door and he says "and I'm not even a big fan of Manhattan". never saw that ending of the scene before.

A lot of great little bits like that are cut for syndication. Especially in seasons 8 and 9. Prior to that, they could cut Jerry's opening standup. Though even in seasons 8 and 9, they cut a lot of the cold opens (I think I posted a compilation of them in this thread before). It's a shame because there's a lot of good stuff in there. But now with the show on streaming, more people are seeing them.

I look forward to it coming on Netflix. Here's a question for anyone that's streamed it on Hulu, are they the widescreen versions that are now shown in syndication? Widescreen but without stuff cut out for time I mean.

And then, of course, Basic Instinct. This complication is pretty fucking extensive. Had no idea about a lot them....then again, I have not seen a lot of those movies as well.

Sampled how it looks on Netflix....and it looks awful. They converted it from 4:3 to 16:9, which is great if you just cut the bottom and top like they do for the current syndicated version. But here, they must've did some sort of 4k conversion, and it's totally grainy. Looks more like a show from the 70's than the 90's. 

This is why I hate trying to stream classic shows on these big platforms. Everything gets homogenized and you lose the whole edge of it!

I really can't believe how bad this looks. The music equivalent would be listening to an mp3 at 96 kbps.

It’s lewd, lascivious, salacious, OUTRAGEOUS.

I mean, I have every episode on DVD, my computer hard drive, and an external hard drive that's hooked up to my PS4. So it's not like I can't watch it. But all of those are in 4:3...and it'd just be nice to have them properly on Netflix looking like they do on TBS.
