seriously... wtf is going on that people can't make fun of stereotypes anymore.
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

    I watched the show and knew there would be complaints. Its the PC world gone mad. It amused the hell out of me though.

    The matter was also raised in the Mexican senate, where lawmakers were considering a motion of censure.

    On Thursday an all-party group of British MPs also urged the BBC to apologise, calling the remarks "ignorant, derogatory and racist".

    Why don't these people get a life.

    it's a staple of british humour... not only do we stereotype other countries but we stereotype ourselves... i watched Not Going Out last night and there was a joke on it about Northerners having babies aged 14... if enough Northerners complained would the BBC issue yet another sycophantic grovelling apology?

    Let's admit it we all take the piss out each other. Clarkson is always having a go at Americans but I haven't heard any complaints from them.

    If every person that made a joke about foreigners was taken off the TV we'd be left with the news and gardening progs.

    And as for the Andy Gray event, don't get me started.

    Personally i found it pretty amusing - they were saying what everyone else was thinking, someone should explain the offside rule and ask her what about the pile of ironing at home....

    when dunkman came into my thread, where I was asking for a simple favor, and called me a liar for absolutely NO reason... then responded to my nice PM asking why he attacked me by saying he was just joking...
