There have been rumblings on twitter they may play a very small show around Grammy time...makes since since they are performing at the awards.

    Cool. Thanks for the tip, man. Forgot, were you at that last-minute Band of Horses show at the Roxy last year? Was along the same lines, a few unannounced shows (Roxy, Pappy & Harriet's, H'wood Forever). They emailed em out and tix were gone in a flash.

    I'm gonna go fire up the twitters. I'm on #Team_ArcadeFire, yall.

    Nope, couldn't get into the Roxy, but saw the cemetery gig.

    The Foo Fighters have a last minute show tonight....The Mrs. And I were too tired to go!

    Apparently the Arcade Fire has the venue booked, according to their manager. TBA next week.
    Just got back from the Foo Fighters gig tonight. Amazing.

    Foo Fighters gig was at the Dragonfly in Hollywood. Now, to figure out where & when Arcade Fire is playing. :D

    The show is Friday. Tickets on sale Friday at noon at 3 retail places still to be announced. No online sales.

    Thx, Joe. Amoeba, I bet, will be selling. Where else... Wonder why they're going this route? Online would be so much easier & I doubt this will do anything to slow scalping. Looks like I'm taking a long lunch tomorrow......

    So the Grammys are on Sunday. Wonder will the show be Sat night?

    Good call on Fingerprints. They just moved to a new, big spot this past week, so that'd be a nice way to christen it. Any other venues I missed, ticket-wise you think? Silverlake Lounge & that kinda place are too small. Roxy just did the FF show and they did Band of Horsies last year. Seems like they'd be a slam dunk.

    Maybe I'll see you or Mrs. Joe^3 in line somewhere.

    I think it is an all ages show, so it may be somewhere without a bar. The Mrs. Is the most likely of us who would line-up somewhere!

    The fella from the Fuck Yeah Fest is helping with the show, so maybe it could be at one of his associated venues.

    Thought so....if they were really taking action, I'd try MUCH harder to get the info! Kaching!

    It seems as if they take action on almost anything....awards, politics, etc. I am tempted to bet a few Grammy categories to make things a bit more interesting!

    Since Lady Anti-Helium is so different from the rest of the acts in all the categories, it may be worth the risk to bet them in each category.....if one of them wins, you'd be in the money, or at least not too far out of the money.

    We are going to the Grammys in person, so the people sitting with us would wonder whats going on if cheered for them to win!

    Yep...the Mrs. is a huge Dylan fan so she got excitied about the news.

    This year has the best performances compared to the last 3 or 4 years

    Hoping to get into this show. I think venue may be off the beaten path since most proper music spots have shows booked Friday night. Venue is kind of irrelevant until tickets are secured. Might head out a little early to try and be inthe rightplace at the right time.

    Still no venue announced but tix being sold at Oragami Vinyl, Fingerprints and The El Rey

    Looks like you will have to sleep on the sidewalk to get tix. No thanks!

    They posted a clue on youtube last night. It was old footage of the Bushwackers (WWF) hyping their match against the Bolsheviks.

    Still haven't read where the show's gonna be yet. Peeps apparently started showing up at all 3 places last night.

    Would be tough to be standing in the middle or back of the line not knowing if you're wasting your time or not, the venue and size being a mystery and all.
