So I'm supposed to make something for a Superbowl party...

Need ideas for stuff to make...

Ok

Go!

  • I had a friend that made us all decked out omelets one year. Seemed strange at the time but he said ingredients were on the affordable side and people could have you throw in whatever you wanted on your omelet. Just chop up an assortment of veggies and an assortment of meat and grab four dozen eggs. Since then omelets have been tradition for the Superbowl for me.

So if you're looking outside the box, I recommend.

We have a big footy game out here called state of origin. Each time it was on (3 times a year) I used to mix in a bowl MnM's (ordinary chocolate ones) and cheezles. And eat them together. It was the Bomb!!!!

aside from that, i always make queso. i usually add fresh veggies/spices to give it some kick/heat. i also add seasoned ground turkey. yum.

the other thing we make is spinach dip. love that stuff. just buy a package of Knorr's veg soup mix & follow the directions on the back.

my wife makes some kickass wings & i think it's recipe she found on Rachel Ray's website. i don't care where she found them, to be honest. i just love the way they taste. they're a spicy Thai wing. and they taste even better when you dip them in the spinach dip.....or queso. ;)8-)

The Buffalo Chicken Dip sounds really tasty too....I looked up the recipe and it's like a 'pizza dip' I've made before.

    Keep those ideas coming! :D

I'm gonna type this and regret it - I always make sausage balls.

1 pound of ground pork sausage
    2 cups Bisquik
1 pound shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Mix in a bowl with your hands. Or in a food processor (much easier). Cook at 350 for like ten minutes.

    They're so good, stupidly easy.

I always make my famous "hanky-panky"

fry up some breakfast sausage.. the patty kind, but break it all up like taco meat

once cooked, throw some cheese whiz in that bitch, just enough to coat all the meat

Then, scoop a spoonful each onto a bunch of little pieces of pumpernickel bread (I always find it near the bakery section of a supermaket) and put a sliced piece of jalepeno on each one

Bake them shits on a cookie tray at 325 for like 8 or 9 minutes..

This is absolutely delicious and you will thank me later..

Be sure your drunk ass turns off the oven, this is always a problem for me :D

Homemade guacamole. 3 avocados, quarter cup of sour cream, a green onion, 2 cloves of garlic, a couple squeezes of lemon juice, (and I used to put a quarter cup of salsa in it too but my heartburn has been off the charts lately, still really good with salsa.)

Chop up the garlic and onion in a food processor then add the rest, mix. Blue corn chips, winner!
