sweet! I'd do it myself but obviously can't access the page. I'm guessing more dates will be listed soon after today as today was the first sweep for tix sales for fanclub members, I believe.
2 questions: is a handbill like a playbill and how do you get them? Will all shows have them? Sounds like you have to go to arena to get them. Okay, 3 questions.

Get ready for some old time rock 'n' roll. Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band are returning to Buffalo to perform a concert at 8 p.m. April 9 in HSBC Arena.
Tickets are $69.50 and go on sale at 10 a.m. on Feb. 19 at the arena box office, online at www.tickets.com or by phone at (888) 223-6000. A random handbill policy is in effect for the show; handbills will be available starting at 9 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 11.
Thanks for posting! Hopefully he does something closer to NYC/NJ, would love to see Seeger. I hear he's amazing in concert, so this could be a show I end up seeing if I can't make it to the festival in late summer :(

Seger and company rehearsed again this week in the Detroit area. He's also putting the finishing touches on a new album he plans to release in the spring.
This might not be big news for most folks around here, but it really excites that Bob Seger is hitting the road this year. I saw him back in '06 and it was one of the best, most classy shows I've ever witnessed.
Of course, I'm unlikely to be able to go since I'm planning for PJ Fest....where's that money tree that needs shaking anyways?

The list of cities he is playing is very similar to the same ones mentioned on WTBS when they showed second- rate wrestling in the 80s! Coincidence?[/quote

Hoping to score a pair of Boston tix this morning.
how did you do? It was a madhouse.
I did ok. I first went on and got Loge Sec. 5 which is almost dead center opposite the stage. I gave those up hoping to get better seats. It took like 8 minutes to get back to another set of tickets but on my second try I got Section 316 (which is pretty much center ice/court) Row 7. I am much closer to the stage but up in the balcony. They are pretty close to where I sat for the Roger Waters show last Oct. and I was happy with those seats. All in all I am psyched to be seeing Seger for the first time.

I got through right at 10am and had balcony seats, too and I'm of the mindset that if I'm paying $92 I don't want to be in balcony. I suppose you're right though in that you're closer but I just can't justify the price.
I missed out on 10c tix for Pearl Jam last May at the Garden and was forced to buy off Ticketbastard. I think after fees it was $96 and that was the price I would have paid if I got Loge seats. I guess it is a sign of the times.

$96 for balcony?
Yup. All the seats for PJ were priced the same. Granted 10c got them a little cheaper and without fees, but that is what it was all said and done per ticket.

happy 4600 post. I think 96 was for Seger as well.
Haha. I didn't even notice the posts. I guess I'm on here a bit, no?
Yeah, it's getting expensive going to these shows. Are you going to the Tres Mtns at the Paradise later this month?
not planning on it....because I'm going to Seger.
Makes sense. I will probably have more fun at Seger. Missed out in 06 and can't remember the last time he was in town. I probably wasn't a big fan like I am now. It's gonna be great, though. Can't wait.
very much looking forward to it too. I hope there's no opening act. I guess he's only toured like 2 or 3 times in the past 15 years. I think this could be it for him, maybe one last tour. I hope he brings back Like a Rock. Looking at recent setlists, it seems like that song is retired.
Funny I was by the Garden tonight and not to sound like a perv but all these 20 year old chicks walking around in their bras and stockings was very weird and hot. Like a real life Rocky Horror Picture Show.
I just bought my ticket for the show in Atlanta on April 19th. (Next to the stage in section 117.) I've noticed that a few of the dates have already sold out. I doubt Atlanta will sell out, but it will be a great night nonetheless!
