No one has made a thread yet of the Super Bowl? Well I'll be the first. I think it'll be a good close game. Not a fa of either team, but Kinda rooting for The Packers though. I say they win 24-21.

I was born and raised in WI so I hope the Pack can pull it out, especially to twist the knife into Favre's side for ever leaving.

However, the steelers looked great tonight unlike the Packers today. I say Pittsburgh wins 31-14.

  • It's gonna be a great game and maybe just maybe the Packers can pull it off. It's been a great season so far. :D
  • Both teams struggled today, and it showed for both quarterbacks. But the Steelers run the ball so much better than the Bears did, and the Packers will have a tough time dealing with Mendenhall. I'm calling Steelers 23-16 over the Pack

i feel exactly the same - i guess less a fan of the steelers therefore rooting for the packers
of course i rooted for the jets tonight

the packers are favored by 2.5 pts
i would count on the packers to meet that
    right now over/under is 46
i will cringe and say under

    go packers!!
fuck 'em if they can't take a joke

Gonna be a great game. I like both teams but would like to see Rodgers win and begin a new era in Grean Bay
  • This game is gonna be one for the ages

This will be an amazing game, no matter what the outcome (I'm going 21-28 GB).
The Packers have a lot of heart and deserve a win....

Last years game was epic. Steelers really need this week to get healthy.

Think it will be a shoot out- 35-31 Steelers.

Even though I can't stand them I have to give the BLACK & YELLOW some credit.

That said let's go PACKERS GREEN & YELLOW

Hope my Packers win, but even if they lose the season was great, and beating the Bears was icing on the cake today! Bragging rights for the rest of our lives over them!!!

The Steelers are amazing to me. Ben can go out and have the worst games in the biggest games and still find a way win.

Interesting.....this is precisely why I find them so unamazing. Every team they play pulls a major DERP and just falls flat on their face.

two of the most storied franchises in the game's history.

one of them being a 6 seed and actually favored by 3? that is amazing.

bottom line: this great for the league at a time when it truly needs it.

And the Steelers wouldn't have anything to do with that i guess?

Yay... great game and then work stoppage... The NFL & NFLPA really need to get their shit together and not miss games.

I'm excited for this game, should be a great one with two good teams. I'm a Steelers fans, but have always liked the Pack, so I'm looking forward to this.

No blow-out comin' here. Anyone remember last years Packer/Steeler game? The end sucked for us Packer fans, but it was one of the best games I've ever seen. I'm hoping for another shoot-out!

The football gods have decided to smite Favre this year for his sins (Injury in game 298; the dong scandal; metrodome collapse; etc). I don't think they are done yet. What better grand finale then having Aaron Rodgers lead the Pack to a super bowl win???

Beware the wrath of ye football gods.

  • Only a week away now! Good thing for the two week break, as it looks like a lot of players needed the rest. Hopefully all players can compete at a high level. The Pouncey situation looks like it could be the most impactful injury of the game, but looks like he might be able to go though.

So a female coworker of mine (who NEVER watches football) is going to the Super Bowl. Her friends parents had packer season tickets and passed them down to her friend. Her friend won the Packer season ticket holder super bowl ticket lottery and is taking her. She had to pay face value $800 for the ticket and got a flight for $400. They are staying for free with a co worker of her friend in Ft Worth. DESPITE all this she was COMPLAINING this week that they "got their tickets and they are in the upper deck" and that they are "staying in Ft Worth and that's where all the Steelers fans are staying, not the Packers fans". I couldn't believe it, because it was at work I didn't say anything but had it been outside of work I would have laid into this ungrateful selfish spoiled bitch. I would kill to have gotten the opportunity to purchase super bowl tickets at face value and have a FREE place to stay down their. Instead if I wanted to go it would easily run me $5,000 which I surely don't have. If it's that big of a deal I'll hand you $800 cash for your ticket, drive myself down to Dallas, go to the game and head right back after it, no problem! Some people are unbelievable!
