These are the 2003 version that have usually fetched $300+, not those free ones that you mentioned."...would you like some forks?" EV 12-02-060

i honestly wouldnt spend more than $100 on it, and even that is too much.
i guess there is a reason why i never bought it in the first place... its hideous and looked like substandard quality goods.
if you ask me, just buy any laptop bag and slap a pj patch on itit's largely due to eddie that i liked to jump off of things as a child...0 -
A used one? I would say 50 bucks. A new minty fresh one, probably 150 bucks.0

i'd trade ya my Creed cd that i dont own. but if i did it would be a sweet trade!!
$150!!BUGS IN THE WAY, I FEEL ABOUT YOU0 -
The bag is priceless and quality made. I travel for a living and the bag receives many complements. Next to a few of my posters (charlotte 96 etc.), it's my favorite PJ score. Jimbo, you should have pulled the trigger..... By the way, I'd be willing to part with it for way less than these dollar signs...0

Week,
Just wanted to respond to some of the comments made by some fans, that have not had the opportunity to enjoy the bag. There are many items that the 10C offe,r which many, subjectively, deem priceless... I was trying to suggest that I'd be willing to trade the bag, despite my love for it. Perhaps the Klaussen DC Reaper poster... There are times in life when material possessions can be appreciated, and passed along to another for their enjoyment... Thanks for the philosophy lesson regarding my choice of words... I'm here to help out my fellow fans, and I'm not trying to take their last dollar.... Have you ever volunteered or given back to the community, despite no monetary compensation? Try it sometime...it's a priceless feeling!
As I was leaving the MSG 03 show, I happened to ask a dude to sell me his poster (he had two of them)... I offered $200. Apprehensively, he declined, and sold it to me for face value...
Conversley, I was one of the few to score the Klaussen DC poster... I was approached in similar fasion, by a passionate fan who offered me an rediculous amount of money for the art. Without hesitation, I returned the favor that was provided to me and gave the kid the poster....The dude walked away with the poster like it was his first newborn.... That's what the PJ shows and family are about....
Regards!0 -

no worries, just breaking your chops....and yes, I've donated my time before and have miracled numerous people in phish/pj lots looking for tickets, so i'm (and probably 99% of the people on here) are aware how helping out strangers is a good feeling.0 -
So, anyone on here have one for sale or trade? if so please PM and hopefully we can work something out.
If you come forward I will return the favor and send you something from my own private "museum." you won't know what it is, and it will of course be an added bonus on top of the price/trade agreed on...0 -

I can tell you first hand that it was an extremely well made bag. Very, very tough. It's attractiveness is another story, however. I liked it personally but can understand why many don't.Download the unofficial <a href="http://bit.ly/PJStatTracker">Pearl Jam Stat Tracker</a> app for iPhone/iPad. It's <em>FREE.</em>
PM me with any comments or suggestions for the app - or weigh in <a href="http://forums.pearljam.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=167611

Its definitely a well made bag.....I paid well for one too......I got fixated on having one (gasp)....but for the coins people expect for this bag i can honestly say its not IMO worth anything like it....Sure its cool, but its not $400 cool. No way. For $40 you were picking up a bargain though and a very versatile bag
The market sets the price however so actual value is a very different thing to a personal perceived and subjective valuation.0 -
Someone in this thread mentioned the idea that a new PJ20 version would be sold this year. Just wanted to pipe in and say that's a great idea! I hope it happens!0
