One of the "unexpected releases" for PJ20 year??? Damn, now that is pro-shot. I guess it could be form the Crowe movie... but a DVD would be cool. Although, I don't know if any of the Phillly shows (especially the last one) were very... "flaw-free" I guess I should say? They fucked up a lot becuase it was such a crazy night full of never-played songs. Great for hard-core fans, but anyone else might not get it.

After listening to all the shows the other day, i hate to say it but night one probably had the least flaws and I'm not sure if they filmed that as extensively as 3 and 4.
That means that Pearl Jam should come to Scandinavia . If they don't come to Finland (that hasn't happened since 1992, it's apparently too hard and expensive to ship the trucks on the ferry that takes eight hours or something) next time they tour in Europe I'll definitely go to Sweden. Just hope they come at some point, rather sooner than later...
Yes and the video looked good. Hopefully a Spectrum DVD box or Blue-Ray. Or maybe it's from PJ20... We'll find out...

Its been a long time since I've watched an officially released live DVD but.....all that cutting from scene to scene is normal??
I'm not a fan of the rapid cutting myself, but I've seen a lot worse.
And when you love the music I don't think you mind as much.
The worst I've seen was Iron Maiden's Death On The Road DVD. To listen, it's amazing! But to watch it, it's hard on the eyes. Just a blind of an eye you'll miss a shot.

I'll be the first to admit that he could have just been blowing smoke, but he said that the last two nights in Philly were filmed and presented to the band but they didn't like it so the chances of it being release weren't good. After seeing the Got Some video I'd have to agree with them.
But as a collector of both official and fan-made DVD's, I'll be happy to buy ANY official, pro-shot DVD no matter how "over done" the shot sequencing is. Espcially if it's blu-ray.
I think this is what will happen....they will cut all four shows...pick the best versions of the song and make it one big concert. Bonus songs will be BUGS, HOLD ON, OUTTA MY MIND, and maybe history of the spectrum with bonus videos of their performance from 2003 stuff like that.

I would love an official DVD of the Philly shows! It is disappointing that the band didn't like the footage that was shown to them. They should release this for the fans!

I think they were trying to edit the video to the pace of the song.
