I have always said that you will not find a bigger collection of d-bags than at the gym. It would make the perfect setting for a sitcom. This article is kinda long, but I think it sums up some of the characters that you find at the gym (you all know the turds you see that wear a bandana or headband/wristbands...do a set every 10 minutes and spend most of their time talking to anyone that will listen to them. Then tell everyone they 'worked out' for 2 hours).

    Proud to say I've worked out almost every day for the past 15 years and I've never been to a gym. Only gym was P.E. in high school.

    I went running in zero degree weather last night and it felt great... Pull-up bar, push-ups, sit-ups, squats.. who needs a gym.

    lets not forget the wrong way runner. you know, the one that is out for a nice run on the streets. of course instead of using the sidewalk, they run in the street, in the direction of traffic, vs. running in the opposite direction of traffic like you are suppose to.

    his close cousin. the wrong way biker. you know, they like to ride agaist the flow of traffic.

    There's always the woman who is obviously there for attention and to show off her disgustingly fake boobs, and really has no intention to achieve a state of fitness.

    This is the worst time of the year to go to the gym. All the people with their new years resolutions....hard to even get on a machine sometimes. Looking forward to March when it is back to business as usual.

    What's wrong with a bandana? I'm not wearing it there for a fashion statement, but it's the only way to keep sweat out of my eyes when I'm doing 200 floors on the stair climber.
