I watched the memorial service. did you see Giffords' intern Daniel Hernández Jr.? when Obama praised him, he sat and stared at obama, without a reaction. I wondered what he was thinking....he seemed almost in shock. he finally said, "thank you." I was wondering when he was going to respond, it must have been awfully hard on him. As for Christina-Taylor Green's parents, I don't know how they are able to speak to the media. I don't know how any parents are able to speak on the news, etc. when their child has been killed.

I pray for all the families and friends of the victims.

For the next few months, I hope that the media (or a reality show) does not follow/bug Daniel Hernández Jr. since he is a hero.

I loved Hernandez's speech. Though obviously not a professional speaker, he spoke from the heart.
Believe me, when I was growin up, I thought the worst thing you could turn out to be was normal, So I say freaks in the most complementary way. Here's a song by a fellow freak - E.V

what? when did he speak? I thought I watched the entire memorial. I was only talking about when obama complimented him. I'm sorry. Maybe I fell asleep?

it was a lovely speech up until the last sentence... then he had to spoil it.

p.s. may Allah bless Iran. ;)
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.
