Didn't read through the entire thread, not sure if this was mentioned, but I was in a wedding a couple of years ago where my buddy got all of us Louisville Sluggers with our names engraved on them. He got them while he was in Louisville at the factory, but I think you can order them online. Just an idea, take it or leave it. All of us thought it was cool.

    Still debating?

Matching sunglasses. Would make for a very cool photo op.

Go with Oakley or something like that. Nothing Elton John-ish. Unless, of course, you're into that kind of thing.

Until they realize that you don't want to actually break that bat... Sports Authority. $30. Get a new one WITHOUT your name on it. Then threaten them with violence.

When I got married back in 98, my groomsmen all received 2 GREAT tickets to their favorite baseball teams...
Fenway, Shea, Yankee Stadium, Oakland Coliseum and Dodgers - they loved it and still talk about it today.
They came from all parts of the US (obviously)...
    Good luck

I've been in a bunch of weddings and I have always gotten some cheesedick gift. The best thing I have ever gotten was a best buy gift card.

I wanted to get my guys something practical that they would use. I went with travel bags with their initials on them. They were a big hit, the guys use them all the time. I threw a gift card in each bag as well.

As for the best man...I don't think you have to get him anything special. My best man got married before I did. I gave him a much larger wedding gift than most of his guests, and he returned the favor when I got hitched.

More importantly...where is the bachelor party?

Thing is I am broke. All I know is I've got till May to get enough dough together. I think it's time to turn to dealing drugs.

My bach party was in vegas. 3 nights there definitely took a decade off of my life expectancy.

The ole AC bach party. I've been to bare exposure more times than I care to admit. One year we saw a chick that went to high school with working there. THAT was priceless

ha...yeah that's where we're going. i'm actually more looking forward to tearing it up at the borgata all night than that place. with any extreme amount of luck, we can carry it over to an nfc championship game at the linc the following day. what a f-cking weekend that would be....

if somehow that game is in philly that could turn out to be a legendary weekend for you guys. I'll be pulling for you.

any strip club where you can bring your own beer in with you is a quality establishment in my opinion.

I'm not a fan of the borgata. Always packed and tables are overpriced. I'm not a huge casino guy...blackjack only for me. Usually $25 is the minimum at the borgata...you can get wiped out quick playing those tables

if i remember correctly that place is directly next to a beer store. actually i think its connected so you can walk right into it without going outside? everytime i'm there its always a blur.

i love the borgatta. it is overpriced and the tables on a sat night will be pretty high, which sucks. but the broads are always super hot. the restaurants there are awesome too. i've always had good times there.

yep, beer store right next door. buy a bunch of cases and set up camp in a corner. just make sure there is always one guy standing guard at your base so no one steals your beer.

one bad shoe at the borgata and you could be done for the night. that's all I'm sayin. I prefer the trop. I'm sure you guys will have a blast...AC is always a good time.

Haha. We did this many moons ago. What a classy trip. Greyhound bus from Wildwood to AC with our British neighbors working there for the summer, brought along those beer cases that are also cooler bags.....yada yada yada, there was no bathroom on the bus so said cooler bags we're used as piss buckets....like I said, claaaaaaaassy.
  • I gave out beer steins, because I collect them.

    I've received:
    A nice tie (eh)
A pocket watch which was awesome.
-one thing to remember, always have a good time, all the time

Bare Exposure was the place we went for my bachelor party also

I prefer "Where the magazine comes to life..."

The idea of pocket watches just gave me an idea - all groomsmen get monocles. Now that would be ridiculous.
