There must be some song loved by most of the fans that you hate, some peaople here say Daughter is horrible, NAIT, Gone.
i personally don't really like Tremor Christ
Tremor Christ is neither a hit or hateable. I might get tired of a song or two now and then...but I don't hate any of them.
"Had my eyes peeled both wide open, and I got a glimpse...of my innocense, got back my inner sence, baby got it...still got it"
Is Dissident a hit? Anyways, I hate that fucking song.
Dissident was their first ever bad song...
Along with Pry_to, Bugs, Aye Davanity, Foxy Mop, Rival, LBC, Green Disease, Help Help...are probably the only songs I dislike from them.
*not referring to hits, their catalog in general...
The rest are OK-good-great!
Just because a song is a single off an album does not mean it was a hit. I agree Dissident was a hit, but just because it was a single does not a hit make.
Case in point: Gone. It got some radio airplay, but I wouldn't call it a hit.
Ah my bad it was Spin The Black Circle. Those Vitalogy singles/b-sides always mix me up.
Still, it was a B-side.
It's still not a B-side since it was on a fucking album! It's just a song they threw on a single. You will argue that it is on the "b-side" of the single, but b-side really means a song that wasn't released on an album. In no world is Tremor Christ a b-side or a hit.
Tremor Christ is not a b-song. It's on Vitalogy. K?
Call me purist, but if they did many songs I didn't like I wouldn't be a fan. I've read your posts and the conclusion I've come to is that some of you may be a little shallow or inexperienced.
The songs most disliked, I can relate to. I've been there. In love and making pictures out of clouds, broken-hearted and insecure- high and full of it and reckless- wanting to die, no sh*t, sorry I woke up- On and on...
And these songs were there with me.
Maybe you few are not capable of understanding. Many more are, though. I'm guessing.

i know i am...if they started it like they did with jack irons in 95 and played it a little slower&funkier i'd love it..as it is, it's a ten minute long hand job....boring..

to clear the misconception some of you seem to have about the term "b side"..it comes from the vinyl era, when a group released an album they would put what was considered the strongest/best songs on the "A side" of the album and the weaker ones on the "B side" of the album.
Faithful is one of my least favorites. However, the more I read the lyrics, the more I like most of the lyrics. I can see how the most of the song resulted in an ending like the ending, but it was too sudden. There is a gap. The music drags it down.
I don't think Gone is from the heart genuine.

Don't know what's the problem though. It's like it has Nirvana feel to it (obviously not a fan of those guys).

Evenflow
Do the evolution..
I love my country but I don't want the last thing I hear at a Pearl Jam concert to the SSB... I want it to be a Pearl Jam song.
To me, it totally kills the energy of the show.
