I will always hold dear seasons 1 and 2, and to a lesser extent season 3... but this season needs to be the end. Hopefully they do it with style and it doesn't involve Hank going to AA (God that would be horrible) or offing himself or with the family getting back together.
This show is kinda like Weeds in that seasons 1 and 2 (and maybe 3) were AWESOME and then the show just got way too chaotic and misguided. Weeds needs to end also... it should have ended last season. That show was great when they were in Agrestic and she was peddling the stuff, Doug and Andy were doing their thing, and Nancy wasn't dating a drug lord or had a baby...Everything not forbidden is compulsory and eveything not compulsory is forbidden. You are free... free to do what the government says you can do.0 -
last night's episode was actually really good... I didn't have the douche chills down my spine at all, due to the lack of overly gratuitous sex scenes resembling a low budget soap opera. The sex scenes were all with Runkel and all FUNNY, so I'm cool with that. The last part with Hank and Karen's dialogue... bummer man.Everything not forbidden is compulsory and eveything not compulsory is forbidden. Last season seemed like that were trying too hard and grasping for storylines. This year is more believable, and it has also shown more emotion. I like the dialog from all the characters better in this season too.0 -

that was pretty great. I can remember some party dinners in my past that I've hosted that spun out of control, but of course nothing to that extent. Back when I lived in AZ we hosted a Thanksgiving dinner for all of our friends - most of them didn't have family in AZ and neither did we. I think it was 2007... drunk before the guests got there. We all had a "belly stretcher" (green) before we ate. Wine, liquor, laughs. Everyone eats and then the "E" is broke out by a guest about an hour or so afterwards! By 4pm or so we're in the pool, naked... everyone. People are having sex... MOSTLY with their partners, some not. Most of the people leave at about 6pm or so, a few stay and I break out the "fungi." By about 5am the next morning we finally go to bed and it took about 3 days to recover. ahh, the memories of a different life. Everything not forbidden is compulsory and eveything not compulsory is forbidden. You are free... free to do what the government says you can do.0 -
