i was in a human puck race at MSG last night

after the 2nd period..on the ice ..puck costume (which weighed 30 lbs )..against 3 people..1 lap around ice

got off to a good start ...first sharp turn boom wipeout....not i fall to last ..get up make up some ground but then realize i have to run all the way around behind the net so now im screwed..fall way behind because i was stoned and abit whacked out..right before the finish u have to pick up a puck and then drop it in the bucket

as im approaching i decide to dive at the puck because it was hard to just bend down with the whacky costume
bad idea...wipeout ..crawl to puck but then i cant get up for 10 seconds :lol:

finish dead last by 20 lengths.... :mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:

now i get off ice and when i take off the costume i realized i fucked up my back..as i sit here im in pain :(

then i go grab my phone...broke..cracked from the fall (forgot i had in my pocket)

so even though we blew out our rivals..i left miserable :( :mrgreen::lol:

but it was a blast to be on the ice in front of 15,000 making a fool out of myself

    its my own fault..

    no they just walk around and ask people if they want to do it

    we made friends with the guy who does t..so they come by us often for different games and prizes..

    i did something like this about 15 years ago at a clipper game...i had to make a layup, free throw and 3 pointer in a minute...i missed the 3 pointer :( oh and this was supposed to be magic's first game back after his retirement so there was actually a big crowd for it (and several former lakers) :lol::lol:

    oh i wish there was! but this was before digital cameras, cellphone cameras

    and the 3 pointer wasn't the funny part...me running to do a layup in hiking boots (and missing it) was the funny part :oops: :lol:
