I feel fortunate to have been at Uniondale for his "Political Rant". It was a great show and it was funny to hear people yelling for him to get on with the music. I was clapping for him all the way...and he was right (as he likes to point out in the interview). I think he just wants people involved, regardless of your political party.

    Besides all that....Shows for 2008!!!!!
Thank you fellow 10 clubber for saving my ass....again!!!

Just read the article sitting at the doctors office. He really had alot to say. Leave him alone with his smokes! and sometimes you have to sell out..if your family is ill and you need the money, you do what ya gotta do...sell out
I knew all the rules, but the rules did not know me...GUARANTEED!

  • do you forget eddie wiping his ass with the rolling stone cover?

please correct me if I am wrong but I believe it was newsweek magazine he wanted to wipe his ass with.

When pearl Jam turned 10 yrs old, RS did a HUGE story on the history of the band.

I think you have your facts mixed up.

(p.s. LOVE your screenname, my favorite movie EVER!!)

It was a reference to this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5IcZ2yBcvFQ

And it was Spin who did an article on the band when Ten turned 10 years old (http://www.fivehorizons.com/archive/articles/spin801.shtml )
“Life is life everywhere. Life is in ourselves and not outside us. There will be men beside me, and the important thing is to be a man among men and to remain a man always, whatever the misfortunes, not to despair and not to fall - that is the aim of life, that is its purpose.”

Ah, I didn't even know about that. Funny, I have that issue in my bathroom right now. I guess if I run out of TP I know what to do.

Am I crazy? did he not do a variation on this schtick back in the day about newsweek?

I was totally wrong on that one. Thank you for the clarification.
