what was the RHCP song they played during the movie again? I stayed for the credits to see what it was , but I forget what song it was. I do remember it wasn't one of their hits/singles. I think it was something off Californication or By The Way?

I did not recognize it eitehr. I have californiacation and i'm almost 100% sure it was not from that perhaps it was from by the way

My work blocks me from seeing imdb :( so i can't look at the soundtrack, but I'm willing to bet it was Anthony Keidis singing also i am pretty sure he was accompanied by a girl in the song (don't put that down as gospil though)

Even if you don't like Bale in his previous efforts, you'll likely be impressed with his performance in the movie.

Everybody in it does a good job and it's definitely in my top five movies of the year.

For the record I can't stand Bale, he's a good actor but I usually just don't like watching him. But he was brilliant in the fighter... I think he needs to try comedy

It was a very good film but it was very much a tale of two halves... I loved the first half. Second half not so much and it didn't have any euphoria moments like Rocky where you think 'yeh, fuck yeh'. It just didn't do that for me.

For some reason, all the scenes with the sisters reminded me of an Irish film in the 80s called 'The Snapper' which I'd highly recommend.

Thought Melissa Leo was great as always 'what do you mean nobody's seen him in three weeks... why did nobody tell me?'

Saw both 'True Grit' and 'The Fighter' this weekend. Loved both of them! 4 stars out of 5. :thumbup:
