Yeah, I think it was one of the Gorge shows. I got a fucking chubby when I heard it...

My feeling is they've never really paid tribute to Layne in a live setting. I know that Ed did 4-20-02, but correct me if I'm wrong, but he's never played it live...Ed's voice fits perfectly with River of deceit, 80 % of the crowd or more would INSTANTLY recognize it, and it would go down as one of the greatest, most heart-wrenching moments in PJ history...

Do you know which Gorge show it was? I would really love to hear that.

I think I would have the 'omg omg omg' face and goofy smile.

My favourite time at any show!
Believe me, when I was growin up, I thought the worst thing you could turn out to be was normal, So I say freaks in the most complementary way. Here's a song by a fellow freak - E.V

Somewhere in the back of my mind I remember reading or hearing that MAd Season had nearly completed their second album but couldn't get it done and it sits unreleased somewhere. In fact, I don't know why but I heard it was to be a double album.

Am I hallucinating that one or has anyone else heard the same? Could there be a pile of unreleased Mad Season material out there?

I, too recall hearing that a 2nd album was in the works. To me, it always seemed like that band would have a bunch of unreleased jam-type stuff. I always thought it was odd that the ONLY stuff out there is the album. I have their 'Live at The Moore' VHS, which is incredible. And as far as I know that's really the only live stuff out there, but it's not available in CD or DVD form. You'd think by now(13 years later), an alternate version of a song, or an unreleased song would have surfaced. Or at least a DVD of 'Live at The Moore'. Depressing...

Oh, and for anybody who's interested, Mad Season has an official Myspace page. They made me a friend...:) I wonder who's running it. One of their top friends is PJ if I'm not mistaken. Maybe somebody from the PJ extended family is running it?

There is a great version of this song on Youtube. Just a guy sitting on his couch with Guitar. It would help if I had the link, but I'm sure anyone can find it, he is wearing a black baseball cap.
