Bring em!

Dear Hornets,

How do you feel about wearing green and gold and calling yourselves the Seattle SuperSonics? Like good coffee and rain? How about Pearl Jam? They are all here in Seattle waiting for ya!

Sorry to any of the NO Hornets fans....if there are any.

  • Basketball is kind of weird. All these crazy places have teams like New Orleans, OKC, NC, SLC, Sacramento, San Antonio. Memphis...Seattle should have a team.
  • good..... one less place the Kings can possibly move to

I completely agree. Bring back the Sonics. That franchise should've never been taken out of the NBA.

When I watched Sonicsgate, it made me really feel for Seattle and how hard it would be for a true basketball fan to lose your team.

If they ever move the Jazz out of Utah, I'll hit the streets, Travis Bickle style.

I've never even heard of the N.O. Hornets.

I don't follow basketball, but I thought I knew all the teams. I'm a sports fan in general, and WOW. Never heard of 'em.

Used to be the Charlotte Hornets until 2002.

So, Seattle natives...can you give me your opinions on all this to-do about the Key Arena? I've never been inside. Why is it all of a sudden not suitable for the NBA. How long did it work for? It was fine when Seattle was having some of it's biggest years as a franchise, which obviously means higher attendance. Plus, didn't the building just recently have a rennovation? Sure, it's located practically in a neighborhood, but again...it's always been there and that worked for years.

I'm kind of stumped as to why the Key Arena wouldn't work.

People always say this, but I always thought Utah Jazz had a nice ring to it, even if it makes no sense.

No. Plus, I don't see it happening. It's huge here, and it's a great market for the team. As long as the Miller family owns the team, I think they'll stay in Utah.

He was joking, I'm pretty sure. Everyone knows Salt Lake really loves the Jazz - it's good to be the only major league team in town.

if he plays like he did last night, he can whine all day long. 29 points and 12 boards. takes a lot of pressure off of D Rose.

    Yeah, that's not bad.

That's alright, I'll take Millsap over Boozer. Provided Al Jefferson masters Sloan's system, I'll take him over Boozer too.

he's done some good with bringing in Larry Brown to coach and making a couple of solid trades. i hope he does well as an owner, but it's going to take some time to build that thing up. if he puts his mind to it and surrounds himself with quality basketball people, he will be ok.
