I wouldn't bet on it. I can already imagine the British women screaming 'EDDDDDIIIIIIIEEEEE' and throwing their undergarments onto the stage (probably)Cancel my subscription to the Ressurection

Very admirable. Maybe they should put up posters around the venue saying 'This is not a Tom Jones Concert (thankyou)'Cancel my subscription to the Ressurection

women throwing underwear at tom jones?
I will intervene violently if someone screams song titles. I made a group of 4 constantly chatting drunk guys sitting next to me at bridge school shut up simply by giving them the death stare.0 -

I don't think we have any Roman amphitheatres in Britain that are in a good enough state to host events, which is a shame because I love them, but I think we've got the perfect venue for an Eddie Vedder solo show:

I think EV would absolutely fooking love it, playing in front of the ocean, it would be something special. Just a shame our weather is so temperamental... you could get a gorgeous balmy UK summer evening one day, then it could piss it down all day the next!0 -

in scotland there is the playhouse in edinburgh or one in glasgow, (not sure which one)
The Playhouse is an excellent venue. We've not got many seated venues in England that are as good, Albert Hall or Hammersmith I'd think would be most likely if London is included. Festival Hall and Barbican would surely be too small... and they don't put seats in at Brixton very often now.JimNastics wrote:I don't think we have any Roman amphitheatres in Britain that are in a good enough state to host events, which is a shame because I love them, but I think we've got the perfect venue for an Eddie Vedder solo show:

Excellent venue, probably a bit too small though, more's the pity :(The secret to a happy ending is knowing when to roll the credits0 -

Being that it's down the road from me..I absolutely concur
There's always Eden, but that has a 6000 capacity..perfect for a 10c PJ show though2009 - Manchester. 2010 - Dublin, Belfast, London, Berlin, Arras, Werchter. 2011 - PJ20 i & ii, Montreal, Toronto i & ii, Ottawa, Hamilton.
