you do tho, if you have any integrity. that's the problem with journalism in america. talking heads don't question anything, they do what they are told and people are led to believe lies. see the buildup to the iraq war....
yes, it is like that old chris farley SNL character....

    that was cool..........."

  • Kanye call call himself god for all i care. he can call himself whatever. the point is, he backs it up.

he can call himself god because he made a good album? that's the oddest justification for deification I've ever heard.

  • and yes, musicismylife, MANY people are conflicted. not just artists. doesn't mean they act like idiots and it's ok to do so. he's a human being and he makes mistakes. we all do. yes, he's in the spotlight. problem is, he shines it on himself.

  • Well, he did perform at the Macy's Thanksgiving parade. I'm sure that will boost his street cred.

did you see him get "punked" by kutcher before he was famous. He was an ass long before he was famous.

Genius is thrown around too much with him too. imo there seems to be a million rappers better than him out there....

Met him in NYC about 6 years ago, seemed like a cool guy.

Next up: the Super Bowl halftime show, where he will follow in the illustrious footsteps of badasses like the Black Eyed Peas, Janet Jackson, Kid Rock, and N*Sync lol

I like hip hop and even I can't stand Kanye and his music.
And I listen for the voice inside my head... nothing. I'll do this one myself.

Hey Cajun, you forgot to add the current Rolling Stones lineup in your Super Bowl list of infamy!

Oof... I used to really like the Stones, too. A part of me died that day (though not as big a chunk as the part that died when they appeared on a soap opera :o )

Fucking half-time shows. Last year's debacle caused the Colts to loss Dwight Freeney in the 2nd half because his bad ankle swelled up during the 50 minute break. And anyone who likes football doesn't give a goddamn flying fuck about shitty, fucking, washed-up geezers lip-syncing their shitty music!!!
