Pearl Jam "Give Way" CD?

Never heard or seen this CD before. Apparently it was suppose to be included with SVT when purchased from best buy but it was pulled the day before the release.

I gotta say I love the set list and i'm definitely going to give this show a listen.

Anyone know anymore about this or why it was pulled?

If I recall correctly, it's because they were already planning on releasing "Live on Two Legs" later that year and this disc would have really caused an issue with sales. So, it was a $$$ thing...like most things are

Sad thing is, and I'm gonna kick myself for admitting it, Best Buy allowed you to get a CD free due to the issue. I purchased two videos so I was going to get two CDs. My choices:

Snoop Dogg "Da Game is to be Sold, Not to be Told" and Master P "The Last Don"

That setlist is Melbourne #3 1998, it was broadcast live on Melbourne radio, actually Australia wide on Triple J 107.5. I have a top quality recording of that show. From the look of the setlist on the back some of the songs are missing but nevertheless it was one he'll of a show. Just listened to it two days ago!!

i was at the show, awesome. the cd was a give away here in oz when you subscribed to a music mag, i subscribed, got the the double cd release, its an amazing show, ed was out of control...

I got that one and indead a great show....One of mike s greatist solo s at Porch..
Love that cd and listen to it a lot..

$400, wow, not sure how many are out there. mine doesnt look like the one pictured, the cover has ed and jeff on it and the setlist is printed on the back over black. the cd that was meant to come with the subscription was live at fox theatre but i got live melbourne, a mix up maybe, just got lucky!

Porch, Immortality in particular are just about the best versions of those songs ever!

No, the one I have I bought at a recycled cd store here in Melbourne for about $50.00. I had recorded the show on casette, couldn't believe my luck when I found it, mine is just called Pearl Jam live at Melbourne Park, Ed is on the cover, a young Ed with blue cap on backwards, it's not a photo from the show. I also obtained a great quality recording of the '95 broadcast show from same store.

2cd, one is called Pearl side, the other Jam side,the inlay is a funny drawning of Eddie

Before The band started releasing their own boots these recordings were very popular in Australia, now they release their own I don't see many unofficial shows around these days! The two Australian boots I have in my view are the only two boots I would never trade.

If I remember it right, i have two different Aussie 98 boots in great soundboard quality...one is called From Down Under but i don't remember the name of the second boot...have to look at home! Hope to get the Give Way some day!

I still remember the radio contest on JJJ to win the rarefied live CD, you had to ring in a sing a few lines of your fav PJ song!

I've got one that someone at Best Buy burned for me from their copy. Love that show. One of the last with Mighty Jack behind the kit.
