    Hahaha!

That is going to be just what it's like - everyone with their eyes glued to this, while the rest of the website announces something big. I'm gonna have to leave this thread now and look around!

  • I am a kiwi living in oz and have been sitting her in anticipation of whats too come. I see all the bickering and speculation of pearl jam jealousy/greed spread across the world, but now realise after the tragedy that happened in New Zealand today that this is just a minor blip on the radar.

Too all the families of the 29 men in the mines trapped and killed today, my thoughts are with you.

May Pearl Jam play everyday for you.

You're right. So small in comparison. We have the luxury about whinging about if Ed is playing near by, where in NZ, 29 men have died and their families and friends are going through hell.

It must be something big (pearl jam) bc no one gives a crap about an eddie solo tour. They would of broke the news if it was eddie by himself already bc no one cares about eddie solo shows

    what a strange statement

    you my friend are deluded.

many here care about Eddie Solo....that offers a unique and personal experience many of us so far havent had the pleasure of.

I would go crazy for Eddie solo, in the same way I do PJ.

I just cant fathom that kind of blanket moronic statement being applied

  • The church bell rang 29 times so we knew it was final and the end of the
line. Now 29 miners are at heavens gate with coal silt dirty faces asking 'is it 2 late?' when God replies with half a grin 'no my children come on in'. They place their mining lights gently on heavens floor...when God said 'job well done, leave your boots at the... door'.
Repost in memory of the 29 miners that died at Pike River Mine.

whats up party people? what did i miss in the last 80 pages since last night?

    We're finding out tomorrow.....

    .....well that's what I think. 8-)

I think the Tweet is now actually about the Christmas Single which is going to be on time for a change and is Wizard of Oz related .. possibly PJ have done a cover of the old Elton John song, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road ...

They did an old Jackson Five song one year so it could be possible ... right?

    ;)

Perhaps its a touring band dvd of the oz shows

That wouldn't really be in the spirit of the band or the 10c. I know the 10c gets a lot of sh*t on here from the unique and beautiful snowflake crowd, but they have always done good things for the fans and announcing something tour related on a pay radio channel first, after tweeting here, would be out of character for them.

Wouldn't it be awesome if it was some giant "20th anniversary" super show? A Phish like mega festival?

So, with that as my reasoning, discarding all emotion or personal 'wants', I personally believe the tweet was informing us of a small Australian Eddie solo tour.
