I bought Le Noise by Neil Young - it's growing on me but I guess I should have done more research. It's literally just Neil and his electric guitar. It has lots of cool sound effects and what not but still, it's a little bare for me.

Also got around to buying the new Kings of Leon. Yes, they've gotten a bit more mainstream every album but I still find it very listenable. It's not like they totally went pop.

  • I've been waiting for her tour to head my way for a year. there was a show scheduled with her and Cage the Elephant opening, but it got cancelled, and nothing since. Saw her once opening for Matt Good.

It was a stripped down setting when I saw her... 2 guitars, her, about 25 people... Got to chat with her afterwards... Was pretty cool.
