Where are ya going?
Whats on the menu???

Im going to my folks...Kathy is going to her folks house....
I REALLY wanted to have the families over to MY house this year, but for a bunch of silly reasons, its not going to happen.....

My mommy will cook the traditional Thanksgiving dinner...
20Lb. Bird...
Mashed potatoes
Stuffing
corn
Sweet Potatoes
Biscuits
Gravy

I am in charge of bringing the pies....
Pumpkin
Apple
Cherry

So?
What are your plans?
Whats on the menu???

    Actually, I'll be somewhere in the backcountry of the Grand Canyon, no doubt trying to stone some poor desert bird to death for a Thanskgiving meal. Or, just eating some dehydrated mush while wondering what the fuck my problem is...

    I don't know what we're doing...my 'August vacation' is possibly happening next week....but since my SO does not like to plan anything...I am out on a line. I will make my green bean casserole happen at some point or another...and so will my apple pies...

    taking the ham, a spinach broccoli casserole
    pumpkin gooey butter cake
    and stuffed mushrooms

    Brian brings over his fathers "World Famous" oyster stuffing......

    we're driving to Lawrence/Kansas City next Tuesday & will stay until Sunday. it'll be a nice break from Texas. not sure of we're cooking anything because i think my mom & sisters have that covered. but there will be football! also, we're going to try to meet up with my friend (and music collaborator) & his wife on Friday! good times, good times!

    maybe! we'll see what happens! there are a lot of places in KC that would allow a quick booking. we'll see what happens! if nothing else, we'll jam & relax at my sisters place while she shows us the early artwork for the next record!

    Manhattan's not bad....but i used to live in Lawrence & i love it there. just a bit too small for my taste. great little music scene, record shops & clubs though.
