Congratulations Perez! well deserved, hopefully he gets picked up for next year di Resta was correct in his analysis: Vettel is on a downswing in his career while Perez is on an upswing

Well, uneventful end to this unique season. Great to see McLaren back in the mix and I cant wait to see what Seb and Aston Martin bring to the grid next year.
I was thinking the same thing about the Aston! Cannot wait to see what it looks like on the track. And booked Austin over the weekend. No Montreal this year.
Not exactly F1 related, but for sim racers, I've been pretty impressed so far with Assetto Corsa Competizione. It focuses only on the GT series, but they have it pretty dialed in for a sim racer on a console. I'm playing on Series X, but I guess there are performance issues on the last gen consoles. They announced they are going to release an optimized version later this year for Series X and PS5 ... I thought it was already optimized! Looks great. Probably the best HUD I've seen in a racing game.
I bring it up because the F1 series is the only (sim) racing game for consoles I've been impressed with since the PS3 and Xbox360 were retired.
Really looking forward to the new season. Can McLaren pull a Brawn with the secret diffuser? Has Honda put a little something something in the swan song engine? Is Aston Martin for real? As usual Mercedes sandbagged testing so impossible to know what is really going on. Can't wait for lights out!
