So did any gamers out there pick this up yet? I just got it on my lunch break but probably won't get a chance to play it until really late tonight.

    i am hesitant to buy after buying the new metal of honor. i got burned on medal of honor. i think i will wait and see what peeps say about this one before buying.

    I'll get it in a few days.

    I bought modern warfare 2 as soon as it came out. And my stats took an absolute smashing cause all the super COD nerd bought it straight away and they were freekishly good. Took me a while to get some respectability back.

    i hate when people care so much about COD stats...what does it matter, who are your trying to impress? Do your MW2 stats mean anything today?

    haha, man, I freely admit that I am not that great, and they aren't too important to me.

    But when I was playing my mate at FIFA he was smashing me nearly every match, but my little edge on him was better at COD than he (which I was) but he was like 'look at the stats'. SO I put my head down, bum up and worked them up somewhat.

    The only stat that I cared about was my kill/death ratio. That is all.

    pre-ordered it for my 14 year old...he played it last night while i was at work. from what i heard this morning, he loved it (he played MW2 all the time, so i kind of figured he'd like this one, too). i'm going to give it a shot in a little bit, still enjoying my coffee and trying to clear my head fully.

    Super good! There is a lot to do on multiplayer...so many levels of depth to it. They've kept the best aspects of the multiplayer experience on MW2 and then added some things. Very, very entertaining so far.

    i'm enjoying it so far. for some reason i'm a much better multiplayer player than in mw2, so i just gotta love it. the campaign is also pretty darn good so far as well. i won't have time to thoroughly enjoy it until the weekend though.

    Haha...sorry. Didn't see that you were on PSN. I'm always looking for non-13 year old, non-racist, non-little shits to play Call of Duty with. A PJ fan is usually a good start. :D

    I'll probably wait until Christmas, but only because of principal. I've only had MW2 since last Christmas and I figure I should get a least a year of play on it before upgrading (especially after shelling out money for the map pack).

    ... also did anyone see the new Black Ops commercial for the limited edition Jeep Wrangler. I want one of THOSE too, Santa...

    i don't think that non-13 year-old, non-racist, non-little shits are escapable in COD. i've tried numerous times to avoid them, then halfway through the game i hear the crackle of a microphone, and i say to myself, 'aw hell.' every time.

    No offense to your 13-year-old; he sounds like a great kid. Unfortunately, I can't say that for all the other young kids that play this game...lot of messed up things get said online while playing this game...

    But yes...it is a great game. Tons of fun, even for a full-grown adult like me. :D
