And the only thing trendier than "being with Team Coco" is to bash those who like the dude. Really is ironic and/or funny - that being the absurdity of it. It's not like the dude's been on the air since '93, and been a writer on SNL & The Simpsons during their peak. Yeah, Conan is a real flash in the pan. :roll:
He'll never be as funny as his 1230 slot on NBC, but it's good to see he's sticking to what he knows best.

At least he can be edgier like he was on Late Night than on Tonight.
If the show's not in NYC then it just won't be able to capture that same feel it did 10 years ago. Plain and simple. Back when Amy Poehler didn't know who she was, Mr. T making frequent visits, etc. etc.

Thought Soundgarden was okay. I'm not a big fan of Black Rain. There's probably a reason it didn't originally make the cut. I thought the band sounded pretty good, but Cornell's vocals got lost in the mix. You can tell he's still got the pipes. They also played Hunted Down for the audience. You can watch it here:
