Yeah, you can never go into a game complacent. We are all guilty of that sometimes.
I remember one year, we were undefeated all season. Finished 1st and semi-final we played the 4th ranked team. We went in thinking we would kill them like we had killed every other team that year. We even knocked over a team who had been undefeated in like 3 or 4 seasons. And you guessed it, semi final time we got smashed.
Our coach blasted us, saying 'who turned up today thinking we would win easily' nearly all of us put our hands up and he said 'thats the reason we lost'. A great lesson. England won't lose to them again...Sydney 11/02/2003
