    Very good aye.

Glad I missed England's innings. Can't believe Trott dropped CLarke. Great innings from both those boys

You should see it. I don't know what he was thinking. Probably that they must have seen and heard the ball hit the stump and thought he would quickly flick the bail off and hoped no one noticed.

i think he just had a dog of a night. cos that referal for the caught behind down leg was also atrocious.

just wondering if beefy the old prick could make a comment on priors "bowled/stumping"... oh what's that beefy? a cheat? maybe?
Yeh I've seen Pearl Jam, too. But I can't remember the dates.

Don't worry about Beefy. Correction... he's a big nosed old prick! He'll probably say something stupid.

England 333 and they still can't win. I think they should head home and give India a miss. :(

YEah but at that stage, I think he believed that the ball hit the pad and was trying to save the 1 run and also the extra ball. Terrible, and his keeping was the worst of the tour. HE missed a few returns, led to overthrows at times. And England's fielding was way off. Worst fielding for either side over the summer.

I've been thinking it for days.

Aussies I thought will do well. But now two losses (all be it the 2 best teams) now I am not so sure.

I think this world cup is the most open in years. And that any of the top 5 teams can knock anyone off.

Sth Africa, India, Australia, England and sri lanka are all good chances.

I reckon Sri Lanka or India to win.
South Africa with a chance, a dark horse perhaps.
    England no.
Pakistan no way with all the match fixing dramas.
Aussies if we can fix our batting woes.

and people ask why we watch cricket.....what a great game ,

My Dad, took me to a World Test Match in 1970-71 I think the West Indies vs India in Kingston Jamaica. Even though i was a youngster I still can remember how the atmosphere was bigger than being in baseball's World Series. Cricket IS a great sport.

I must check the time difference. Am I going to have more sleepless nights?

Just checked and it looks like they are 5.5 hours ahead of us here. Early alarm setting then. Her indoors will be delighted.

    Hussey, Hauritz, Doherty.

    In is Ferguson and Krejza.

A pace attack of Lee, Tait, Johnson and Bollinger. Krejza is a decent bowler. But he won't be a match winner this world cup. Too inconsistent but has some great attributes. I believe from the limited times I have seen him that he is the best off spinner in australia.

I also heard a rumour the other day that cricket australia is going to try and sign Muralitharan to become Australia's spin bowling coach

I fast forwarded through their bowling today. Mitch bowled well   And I am excited about Krejza. He is a good bowler, I think he will go for a lot of runs at times, but he tosses the ball up, gets drift and spin. Not sure if he will be an asset or a liability, but I hope he just keeps developing.

England will find it tough against the Netherlands.

The selectors are idiots for not selecting Mike Hussey.
He could've been fit in time for the real stuff, who cares about the minnow matches.

Yeah, but it's a bit hard. From my understanding (I think and could be completely wrong) from the final squad you name, you can not take out or put in. So, if Ferguson gets injured you can't replace him, but you can appeal to icc.

So if Hussey was named in the squad and didn't pull up, then aussies would be down. But I would have loved to have had him there.

    Not completely sure though...

Go punter, he is a passionate bloke.

Amazing what people do when they get out

I think it was Michael Bevan who put his pads and bat in the toilet and tried to flush it.

Matthew Hayden kicked the door in at the SCG and got done big time.
