    That's absolutely beautiful! :clap::clap::clap:

    HSB!!

    She's back. With the coolest avatar yet. Won't be long before we get back to the 'traffic stopping' ones that get you all the attention of us boys eh?

    Yes, I like looking at this picture. Makes me feel calm and warm, have looked at it a few times now.

    What's great about your picture is you manage to capture a lot of Ed's 'emotional' energy - there's a kind of softness to it - a definite emotion. Much more so than a photograph. Do you base your stuff on a specific photo, or do something else?
    usually i have a specific reference photo that i use.

    Must be the process of you turning the image into a drawing that gives it the magic!! Is it in pencil or paint? (am going to start revealing my lack of knowledge about such things soon! :lol: )

    well, my thing is, the majority of my art i'm not emotionally attached to at all. that's why i said i'd love to get rid of them. i just create and set it aside. and the recent idea that i could do something i've always enjoyed doing and give it to someone who likes it probably more than i do, and actually make something off it sounds like a really good idea to me. :)

    Yeah! That sounds like an awesome idea to me too...I mean, it's a win-win. You get something for doing something you love to do and the fan who love this (like me) gets something too.

    I'll second D's post for contacting D&L to print these for you. Small, custom house that can hold your hand through the process since it's your first print (and do a great job as well). Their pricing is reasonable and I think you can easily sell out a limited edition run of 100. If you're unsure on demand, set up a shop on Etsy.com and take preorders until your confident enought to go to press. Good luck!

    If she made this drawing from a picture won't copy right issues apply? Not that its a copy. Im just saying when ever money gets involved a** holes seem to lurk about wanting their piece of the pie.

    i see where you're coming from on this, but like you said it is not a copy. this is my original drawing done by hand, that even differs from the original photo. it is very common to use reference photos in art.

    I ment no harm in this post. I just dont know about the way that stuff works. I guess that vanilla ice song realy messed with me. Remember when I think queen said he copied ther song for ice,ics,babby. He said he changed it just a little but lost the court battle anyway. Im glad u kmow where I was going. I wish I could draw like that.

    well, i d'know.. it's actually made from a really boring picture in my opinion. i wish i would have picked a more original less popular picture. so we'll see, i guess.
