why do guys stand behind girls at shows, especially if they are a couple? Why not stand side by side?

so she can stand on my toes and be taller

in case someone feels up her ass

    and

it's easier to kiss and cuddle

so she can stand on my toes and be taller
    and this
Ron: I just don't feel like going out tonight
    Sammi: Wanna just break up?

I agree, and I'm a tiny thing. The way I see it is that if you're much taller than me, than you can't squeeze through people that well, so I just use that to my advantage if i can. I'll get around you one way or another. ;) I don't drag 5 friends with me either; I'm usually on my own when trying to get near the front.

And I refuse to bring my purse to shows. I want to be free of baggage. I.D. and money go in pocket, and anything else.

People who come late... drink at the bar during the opening act and try to push their way to the front for the main show... nope. That doesn't fly right with me. I feel it all comes down to whether you are a considerate person... or a selfish person. A considerate person would not place their self interests before those who spent the hours outside and the time spent standing in the one place they are right now.

    this.
did you see me? i saw you.

God Damn glow sticks!! Not at a pj show thank god. They are just trash to me. Every once in a while you see people throw them wherever with no regards for anyone. I got hit in the face this summer  . I do give a little credit to millions of glow sticks being tossed during a single song, it looked pretty cool. But still it's just trash that gets thrown out. I will never buy glow sticks until the day I die and will definitely never bring them to shows.

The rest of the complaints don't bother me. I do get a bit annoyed by people talking, but whatever. Take all the pics you want, bring your purses, wear your band shirts, smoke whateverthefuck you wanna smoke, get drunk, rock out, dance, get the odd splash of your drink on me, I DON'T CARE...when I'm at a show, I'm in good-time mode...if you're not being totally obnoxious and blatantly disrespectful about any of the above, I can deal with it. It takes a lot of BS to ruin my fun at a concert.

    +1
I just don't care / notice what's going on around me at a show once I get into it. The band, the crowd, me. That's it. I don't pay attention to anything else really. So nothing bothers me once the band starts playing. 8-)

the worst faux pas anyone can commit with me is to try and talk to me during the bands set. please dont do it cause i will ignore you. and youll have no one to blame but yourself if youre with me, cause i would have warned you beforehand. if youre going to the bar just assume ill want a refill. ;)8-)
    hear my name
    take a good look
    this could be the day
    hold my hand
    lie beside me
    i just need to say
  • to me people should follow the same etiquette as going to a movie. don't fucking talk to me. simple. talk to me between songs, MAYBE, as long as the singer isn't addressing the crowd, and either way, keep it brief. As in "that fucking rocked", nothing more is necessary.

    :lol::lol:

I find it even strange that people would want to engage in a conversation in the middle of a show .... I remember this bootleg from a PJ show back in 1993, where at some points you can totally hear a couple of people starting a conversation .... and they need to talk loud, since otherwise they couldn't hear one another  In the middle of Footsteps ? Seriously ? WTF ?!

People pushing and shoving their way just to get closer before the show starts and just being asses about it (not saying excuse me or pardon me). do that to me and i push you right back. Now if you do it during the show that's a different story especially if it's a band that likes to "rock" out.

People texting during the show is kinda annoying, but that's their loss and stupidity. Do it before or after, so you don't miss anything.

People holding up their cell phones during a song so someone can hear it, makes no sense to me.

I have no problems with using cameras and videotaping or taking pics during the show (I'm guilty of that). I do try and not get in people's way when doing it though.

As far as women looking hot during the shows, I'm all for that :D

  • I always assume there's gonna be tall people/purses/all manner of smoke/fighting/fucking/whatever in GA.. All part of the experience. If you don't like crowds, you probably shouldn't go with GA, and if you need a sterile environment, just put the CD on at home.

The only thing I can't abide is the asshole who uses the closeness as an excuse to cop a feel. There's no excuse for that.
