    Define "cry".
If we're talking about getting really into a song, a bit emotional, maybe with some wetness welling in the eyes...cause uh...I'm like...so into it....ok, yes, that happens on occasion. But if we mean like CRYING crying....like...tears running down cheeks, runny nose, jerky sobbing breaths n shit...hasn't happened.

Well, I'm a woman, and a very emotional one at that, so a lot of songs touch me deeply

but I can't imagine any guy out there wouldn't be affected by Don't Cry Daddy by Elvis Presley (sorry, I got a crappy lyrics page, but you'll get the drift)

Today I stumbled from my bed
With thunder crashing in my head
My pillow still wet From last night tears
And as I think of giving up
    A voice inside my coffee-cup
Kept crying butAnd ringing in my ears
Don't cry daddy Daddy, please don't cry
Daddy, you've still got me and little Tommy
Together we'll find a brand new mommy,
    daddy, please laugh again
Daddy ride us on your back again
    Oh, daddy, please don't cry

    Why are children always first
To feel the pain and hurt the worst
It's true, but somehow It just don't seem right'
    Cause ev'ry time I cry I know
It hurts my little children so
I wonder will it be the same tonight

    Don't cry daddy
    Daddy, please don't cry
Daddy, you've still got me and little Tommy
Together we'll find a brand new mommy
    Daddy, daddy, please laugh again

ok if that's the case there are a few...
    Black
    Man of the Hour
    One & Bad by U2
Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns, Oceans, and Times of Trouble - I still associate them with moving away from a gf when I was 18...nearly 20 yrs later and those songs still take me back.
Jar of Flies in it's entirety reminds me of the subsequent breakup...Dont' Follow in particular.

And I seem to have a bit of an emotional weakness for songs of reassurance...
It's Ok (Daughter tag - esp Gorge 06 version!), Three Little Birds and No Woman No Cry (the everything gonna be alright parts) by Bob Marley can all get to me a bit if the mood is right.

Another one for me as a woman - Bridge Over Troubled Water - they played it at the funeral services for Harry Kalas at Citizen's Bank Park here in Philly - as the hearse drove down the first base line and out of the ball park - it killed me, and I can't listen to that song without wailing anymore.

To anyone who has lost a close friend years before their time (Im getting emotional writing this)

Know a man...his face seems pulled and tense...
Like he's riding on a motorbike... in the strongest winds
So I approach with tact... suggest that he should relax...
But he's always moving much too fast...

Said he'll see me on the flipside... of this trip he's taken for a ride
He's been takin'... too much on... off he goes
With his perfectly... unkept clothes... there he goes...

He's yet to come back...but I've seen his picture
Doesn't look the same up on the rack...we go way back...

    I wonder bout his insides...
Its like his thoughts are too big for his size
He's been taken... where? I don't know... off he goes
With his perfectly... unkept hope... there he goes...

And now I rub my eyes... for he has returned
Seems my preconceptions are what should have been burned...
For he still smiles... and he's still strong
Nothing's changed, but the surrounding bullshit... that has grown

And now he's home... and we're laughing...
like we always did... my same old... same old friend

Until a quarter-to-ten... I saw the strain creep in...
He seems distracted and I know just what is gonna happen next

Before his first step... he is off again
"FF, I've heard the droning about the Sawx being the baby dolls. Yeah, I get it, you guys invented baseball and suffered forever. I get it." -JearlPam0925

First Time Ever I Saw Your Face by Johnny Cash

It's usually caused more by the music than the lyrical content, but sometimes that stuff isn't really separable.
