    I'd agree, because Chi August heat is atrocious, except...........Alpine in the rain where people become human bowling pins on the lawn, which becomes a steep dangerous mud landslide. Not to mention that we had to tack on an extra 2 hours (to the original 2) and 6 people pushing to get the car out of the mud cesspool that is considered a parking lot.

    First time at Alpine is always an interesting and learning experience. ;)

    No doubt the parking lots can be bad. But when the weather is nice Alpine turns into one of the best outdoor venues to see a show. It's kind of magical and you wish the nite would never end. :)

    Red Rocks would be cool too.
