Chicago......been there done that let's try something different shall we. Say some 40,000 seat outdoor venue that is not that far of a drive for you or any other Cubs fan.Anyplace but Chicago and another Lollapalooza that's so 2007. But I'm sure it will happen anyway.

I'd agree, because Chi August heat is atrocious, except...........Alpine in the rain where people become human bowling pins on the lawn, which becomes a steep dangerous mud landslide. Not to mention that we had to tack on an extra 2 hours (to the original 2) and 6 people pushing to get the car out of the mud cesspool that is considered a parking lot.

First time at Alpine is always an interesting and learning experience.
No doubt the parking lots can be bad. But when the weather is nice Alpine turns into one of the best outdoor venues to see a show. It's kind of magical and you wish the nite would never end.
