I've started watching "The Sopranos" and "The Larry Sanders Show" recently and immediately, these two are joining my list of favorite shows. I've been wanting to watch both of them for years but just now I'm starting to.

Law & Order SVU, I'm not impressed with all these "so called" reality shows, really nothing worth watching...

    Wish you were here...

Well, I think netflix is pretty slow to get shows in their streaming line-up... I imagine that AMC might be showing season 3 by now... if not, I'd guess it's soon. What seasons have you seen Dimitris?

    I watched the 1st season marathon-style
    many months ago.
I've lost track of the show since then,
but what I did see I enjoyed immensely.
The Swede- such a dark character!
I think it's shot here in Alberta, too!

    Cheers.

The Swede - that man is fucking weird and kinda scary. The variety of characters are great in this show.
Season 2 has started off nicely.

I've been rewatching Buffy on Netflix for the past couple weeks. I was really, really into it when it aired but haven't rewatched it except for the random stray episode on Pivot. I'm into season 5 now and I think this is about where I stopped watching it religiously.

    Some thoughts:
the 240+ year old dude going after the 16 year old girl is infinitely more disturbing/creepy to me now. I was kind of hoping Benson & Stabler would show up a couple times.
The cross over episode stuff is really, really, really annoying when you're doing a Netflix binge. I'm not a big fan of crossover episodes to begin with but since there's no way to program Netflix to play like one Buffy one Angel one Buffy one Angel it's extra irritating.
There is a marked difference in quality in the episodes "written & directed by joss Whedon".

I really, really, really hope this show doesn't ever get a reboot.

My updated list. The top 4 can be put in any order. The rest is in no particular order.

    1. Breaking Bad
    2. 24
    3. Scrubs
    4. The Sopranos
    5. Californication
    6. Seinfeld
    7. Cheers
    8. House
    9. Rescue Me
    10. Sons of Anarchy

    Honorable mention:
    -Weeds
    -Louis
    -The League
    - Jeopardy
    -Shameless
-The Deadliest Catch (the only "reality" show I've ever liked)

I could easily separate the dramas from the comedies. I lived the older comedies like Roseanne, night court, and Who's the boss. But there just wasn't enough room. 16 shows was more than enough to list.

I didn't get into Buffy until beginning of season 6. Some of my friends were really into it and i kinda made fun of them for it. Then i saw a few earlier episodes and the finale of season 5 i loved. That's one of reasons i bumped up this thread. Buffy was on tv this morning and earlier this evening on ABC family or one of those stations. Just remembered how i liked that show a lot and Angel as well

    If I could do a top 15

    1. Supernatural
    2. House
    3. Blackadder
    4. Grey's Anatomy
    5. the Gilmore Girls
    6. One Tree Hill
    7. Heroes
    8. The Newsroom (though a bit short to count)
    9. Suits
    10. the OC
    11. Revolution (again a bit short to count)
    12. Stargate
    13. the X-Files
    14. Law and Order SVU
    15. Ally McBeal

Then I think I need a top 5 just for comedy panel shows

    1. Have I Got News for You
    2. They Think It's All Over
    3. The Panel
    4. Mock the Week
    5. Never Mind the Buzzcocks

And another top 5 for once off series (you know those 6-part things usually)

    1. Unser Mutter Unser Vater (Generation War)
    2. 1864
    3. The Game
    4. Sons of Liberty
    5. Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell

    I watch a lot of TV.... :)

Chicago Fire and Nashville - even tho they each have had episodes with disappointing story lines.

Turns out my top 3 shows of all time were (or will be, lol) cancelled after 3 seasons. In no particular order: Millennium, Deadwood and Hannibal. Millennium used to be my number 1, but I think Hannibal's replaced it, it's a bit bittersweet watching the final episodes this season (and they just moved it from Thursday to Saturday).

Honourable mentions go to The X-Files, Smallville, 24 and Justified and Family Guy.

Nothing matches the rewatchability of Seinfeld. Easily tops....Game of Thrones is pretty high on the list, as is Breaking Bad after binge watching it a few months back.

Parks and Rec is probably my favorite of the more recent sitcoms.

Love The Office, and i wish reruns were more available.

How I Met Your Mother had a pretty good run, but the ending was so botched it really puts a notch in it. Might not age too well.

I saw the first episode of humans - that entire show is based on the premise that the father refused to handle the housework while the mom was away for work ... For a week. So he buys a robot. Cuz men don't do dishes? Seriously?
I plan on giving it another shot when it's on Netflix or something.

I've watched a TON of shows since 2014 -2015 and my top3 are:

Better Call Saul/Breaking Bad (Really can't choose between these 2 and once BCS finishes will watch them from Ep 1 of BCS > BrBa > El Camino)
    Justified

I love having a ton of shows & music via Digital media to pick from and go through phases between watching tv shows and listening to live music.  We truly do live in a Golden Age for Entertainment due to the easy access of virtually EVERYTHING nowadays. :)
